My scrollbar will not work. I can use my touchpad just right and right click and left click, but I cannot scroll on a page I have to use my arrow keys, how do I fix this?
Most modern laptops with touchpads offer vertical scrolling, horizontal scrolling or both. These features are located along the right-hand and bottom edges of the touchpad, respectively, and are activated when you swipe your finger along the touchpad edge. Scrolling functionality is nearly always enabled by default, but some users find the feature an annoyance and elect to turn it off. In most cases you can simply turn the feature back on using the Windows Control Panel. Click the Windows Start button, select "Settings," and then click "Control Panel." Double-click the icon labeled "Mouse." Select the Touchpad properties tab. The labeling of this tab varies, depending on your computer manufacturer, operating system version and the device drivers installed on your machine. Common labels include "Touch Pad," "Device Settings" and "Dell Touchpad." If you do not see this option, you may not be able to turn on scrolling for your laptop; skip the remaining steps and refer to the "Warnings" section below. Click the "Settings" button within the Touchpad Properties menu and look for the section labeled "Scrolling Settings" or similar. Enable scrolling within this section and define other scroll settings, such as scroll zone width and scrolling speed. Click "OK" to confirm your changes, and then close the Control Panel windows opened in the previous steps. The scrollbar on your laptop is now enabled. Scroll Is Not Working With Windows 7 b> Certain computer touchpads have a vertical section on the pad itself that is used to scroll through the page or program window that you are currently viewing on your computer. If the scroll functionality suddenly stops working but the actual touchpad is still fine, this means that the part of the software for the device that controls the ability to use the scroll has been disabled. You can enable it again in the Control Panel. Click "Start." Click "Control Panel." Click "Mouse." Select the "Enable Scroll" option (or whatever similarly named option is available on your specific model of laptop computer). Click "Apply." The scroll bar on your touchpad will now work again. b>

My Acer X1110 switches off as soon as blue light comes on?
it needs service, and service manuals are hard to find on anything by the likes of ACER.
this projector worked for 12 long years, did you own it 12 or bought a bad projector, no history told as I can buy dead projectors all day long. and hard nut problems even hacking done.
Acer X1110 data projector Standard throw projector..
did you know most projectors have serious grade protective devices inside??? (tamper and overheating are 2)
did you read owners manual page 32 yet, errors.
LED codes.?
there are 4 LED, and all 4 matter, projector turned (ON) (not one =1)
also in pairs glowing and also if blinking or not, so read page 32
it tells all that.
my guess is overheat failures, even cold, due fan slow or packed in lint after 12 years of use and no service done,.

''e'' button :acer empowering technology
That button can be set using the utility on your programs list
It maybe that you accidentally turned it off or set it to do some other task.
Start there first before re-installing the program that sets it.
That is on one of the cds that should have come with it and can be installed by itself.
Acer aspire acc 603g uw30 turns on but turns back off. Help
This issue could be caused by several factors, including:
- Overheating - check if the laptop's fan is working and if the vents are clear of dust and debris.
- Low battery - if the laptop is not plugged in, try charging it.
- Corrupted software - try performing a hard reset on the laptop or booting into safe mode and running a virus scan.
- Hardware failure - if none of the above solutions work, the problem could be a hardware failure such as a failing battery or a damaged power supply. Contact Acer Support for further assistance.
