You will place the document you want to scan into the printer and inside the system you will go to start, then programs, accessories and paint. from paint you go to file then click on from scanner or camera and your document will be scan and you can print it. Thanks

check the printer cable, try to change with other cable, or you can try to reinstall your printer driver.. hope these will help

try cleaning the contacts with a wet towel
if that's not working
change the cartridge that is not been recognized

1.you can restore the computer.

start->all programs-> accessoriess->system tools-> restore system-> restore

now choose the existing restore point

->ok...

2.After restore the Os then you will try to install the printer.

3.if even can not to install then
4.Format the Hard disc then Reinstall the os
5.install the printer and other softwares

open ur printer front cover clean paper pickup roller (black rubber roller)
2.:- then go to printer back cover open clean all (black rubber roller)

remove cartridge and clean it using tissue paper and put it back again

? uninstall the driver completely i.e. L4 uninstallation using the disc ( util --> ccc --> uninstallL4)
? restart the comp
? download and install the drivers frm HP.com
? remember that when you uninstall the printer it should be disconnected

PAPER SENSER NOT WORKING

1. Click start >>Control panel >>Printer and faxes.
2. Right click on the printer icon
3. Select Use printer online.
4. Try to print.

You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Right click on printer Icon, and select "Enable". First Unplug from PC, & Power, Put power back on, wait a minute, plug into USB, wait a minute, select Icon, Enable. Also you can right click the Icon, and select Properties too.

Go to http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=es&cc=co&lang=es&product=1128297& and select your operating system to download the driver for this printer.

Don't waste your money on the refills....the electronics on these are only good for about three refills and then the printer will refuse to recognize them and you will be out the cost of refill and not be able to print. Sometimes you get lucky and get one that will last the whole time but that is few and far between. It sucks but new is by far better.....depends on how much you use. The triple pack at Costco is by far the best buy....IMO

Hi, yes, provided that you're running Windows XP, Vista or possibly 98 just connect it up and the drivers should be installed automatically. If not just go to HP's website and you'll be able to download them.
