Coby TF-DVD7006 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Where can I order a new power cord for a coby
Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
It seems like this is a discontinued item. Specs on the AC adapter are listed as:
The AC adapter operates on AC 100-240V ~50/60Hz (DC Out: 9V; DC
Current: 2.0A minimum
Your best, quickest solution is to check with a place like a Radio Shack who may have a universal adapter with the correct fittings to plug into your player.
Concerned.

Need to unlock tf-dvd7008
Step 1- open the DVD tray
Step 2- Press the "MENU" button on the remote control
Step 3- Press" 8888"
Step 4- Press the " DISPLAY" button
Step 5- Select your region. I would suggest enter " 0", this will make it a all region player.
Step 6- Press the " SETUP button to exit.

The screen shows invallid disc
If the lens of the optical has been cleaned then the most probable cause is a defective laser the cost of which usually makes a repair uneconomical.

Coby 7006 portable dvd
you may be having a dirty/defective laser lens, try cleaning it firts, not by the usual CD/DVD cleaner but using cottons buds rubbing the lens in circular motion, gently please. if it does not help then you have a defective lens already. you can have it replaced but not practical for such a brand. it will be costly to repair rather. better buy a new unit...red

Coby TF-DVD7006.
The second question, I couldnt work that one out at first, but now i think I understand. If you plug the player into the mains, turn it on, red light shows. Light turns green when battery charged. Do not use until light turns green (if plugged into mains). In other words dont use the player while the battery is charging. If it isnt plugged into the mains then the battery cant be charging and you can use. Until battery gets too low :)

Where can i get the battery 7100 coby TF in fresno and do they have one ?
Have you already removed the battery? There will be information on it telling you which battery to use as a replacement. As a general rule I would suggest you Don't start taking things apart if you are not sure what you are doing! You could cause more problems than you're trying to fix. Ask at your local TV repair shops and even some of the computer repairers. They may be able to help you. You would have to ask them directly if they have one in stock but commonly if it isn't a commonly used battery they will have to order one in for you.
If you have the battery details you might be able to get one online.
HOW DO I PROGRAM MY COBY UNIVERSAL REMOTE CRC-02
If you don't have the code for your device, you can use the auto search method to find the correct code. Here are the steps:
Turn on the device you want to program.
Press and hold the Setup button on your remote until the LED light turns on.
Press the device button (TV, DVD, CBL, etc.) for the device you want to program.
Press the CH+ or CH- button repeatedly until the device turns off.
Press the Power button to turn the device back on. If it turns on, the remote is programmed successfully.
Otherwise, you need to search for the manual for the remote.
