Popping noise when i print

if there is a clicking noise, check the paper tray. either the tray is overloaded or the paper guide is not set properly.

it's common for the blue paper tab in the paper tray to slide back. the tab has a little square cut out. make sure that it says "LTR" if you use regular letter size paper (8 & 1/2 x 11 inch).

This printer is lost. Throw it in the bin and buy a new one. It'll be cheaper than repair.

Printer i making a weird

check if there is a paper at tray 1. if so, may be the printer is unable to pick up paper due pick-up roller problem. try to remove the tray and look in the middle, there should be a rubber like roller. if its too glossy it cant pick the paper.

I have a dell 1720dn

When the paper does not feed straight, dirty or stickyrollers can cause it to jamb or crinkle, also failure to remove all traces ofpaper from a previous paper jamb will cause further paper jambs.
Check for tiny pieces of at the edges of the rollers, and remove these piecesof paper. The rollers may be dirty or sticky andcauses the paper to not feed straight.
Try cleaning the rollers with methylated spirits.

Dell1720 laser printer is offline and cant get it

If you mean it shows "offline" in Windows, you can sometimes just uncheck that checkmark from the properties menu and it comes online. This happens if the printer experiences a problem. The computer has no way of knowing that you fixed the problem so you have to tell it that you fixed the problem.
If you are talking about the printer not being online (the actual hardware) you can try clicking on the "reset dell printer" icon in windows. You may need to download this utility from dell.com.
