First ensure that you have not tampered with the display of your phone from the menu.
If you did not tamper with the display menu, them the reason your cellphone is showing just a dim light is because there is a problem with the flex of your phone.
To fix this,
Turn your phone over so the battery
cover is facing you. Remove the battery cover and
battery.
Next remove the 2 rubber stoppers.
Remove the 6 screws,
Next remove the 2 rubber stoppers & screws
above the main screen,
Prise the back part away from the rest
of the phone by running your fingernail between where the two parts meet,
Unclip the ribbon that is by the top right on the lower part of the phone, that is the flex of the phone,
Replace it and reverse the process to reassemble the phone.
u can trace it with the imei number of the phone
call the customer care and tell them ur problem
they will ask u for imei number
then they will block the phone
You cannot, the best you could do would be to know what local transponder it was using, and that info is only available to Service techs, the CIA and the like, ordibary citizens, cannot track a cell phone, unless it has a GPS enabled uplink.
