Sometimes these universal remotes will not do every function on your set . Best thing to do would be to take universal back and go to
www.replacementremotes.com to get the exact remote . You'll never have to worry about recoding your remote. Good luck
Power cord
You might try going to
www.rca.com and use there contact link to find a part # or who the supplier of this set was. I tried to research it but could not find your tv model # listed for a part to get . Do you still have your owners manuel? sometimes they'll give you a phone number to call for replacements parts. Good luck
Help

My tv is blinking a blue light when I try to turn it on along with a popping sound.
It sounds like there may be an issue with the power supply or internal components of your Proscan PLDED5030A-RK TV. The blinking blue light and popping sound could indicate a malfunction that is preventing the TV from turning on properly.
Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Unplug the TV from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for at least 10-15 minutes. This can help reset the internal components of the TV.
2. Check the power cord and connections to ensure they are secure and not damaged. If there are any visible signs of damage, such as frayed wires, replace the power cord.
3. Try plugging the TV into a different power outlet to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the power source.
4. If the issue continues, it may be necessary to contact a professional technician or the manufacturer for further assistance. They can diagnose the problem and recommend the appropriate repairs.
It's important to exercise caution when dealing with electronic devices, especially when there are signs of malfunction such as unusual sounds or lights. If you are unsure or uncomfortable with troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's best to seek help from a qualified professional.
