Will not turn on no power proscan tv model no 26la30q
Most likely the TV has a power supply related problem. It's possible that it maybe a bad capacitor or transformer on the power supply board. Or, something simple like a blown fuse inside the TV.
But, I can't say it's 100% the problem because I can't actually look at the tv over the internet. I can only make guesses with the symptoms.
You have a few choices:
1. You can try leaving the TV unplugged for 30 - 45 minutes so the TV can discharge and reset itself.
2. If by chance the TV is still under warranty, go that route.
3. If you have some electronic experience, if you can find and purchase a Service Manual over the internet; It will help you diagnose the source of the problem and fix it by soldering in the new part. The Service Manual will give you circuit diagrams, test points, and part# lists.Usually, cost under $20. And most cases the new part cost less than $15.
4. Pay a TV shop to do the repairs. It maybe costly, but get an estimate of how much they will charge. That way you can decide if it worth repairing or replacing the whole TV.

Why would our proscan big screen just turn off and
I JUST GOT HOME AN TRIED TO TURN MY JVC PLASMA TV ON. THE TV WILL NOT TURN ON. EVERYTHING ELSE HAS POWER TO INCLUDE THE TV BUT THERE IS NO PICTURE OR SOUND. BLANK SCREEN. THE BLUE POWER LIGHT IS FLASHING ON AND OFF. THE MODEL NUMBER LT-42P789

ITS NOT STUCK YOU GOT STUCK BUT ITS NOT, ID LIKE TO HAVE THE MANUFACTURE TO STICK IT ,SORRY LOL... I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM TWICE THANK GOD I PAID FOR THE EXTENDED SERVICE PLAN WHEN I BOUT IT AT K MART, DUA THAT SOULD OF GAVE ME A CLUE!! LMAO . BUT I CAN TELL YOU WHAT IS WRONG, AT LEAST WHAT THEY SAID IT WAS AND WHAT THEY DONE ABOUT IT BOTH TIMES. THE POWER BOX PWOER CONVERTER THE TV RUNS ON 12VOL DC. SO IT NEEDS THIS TO OPERATE. AND I DON'T KNOW IF A CHEAPER ONE WOULD DO IT OR NOT I TRYED ONE THE SECOND TIME BUT NO HELP UNLESS IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE POLARITY IT PLUG'S IN TO THE WALL AND THEN IN TO YOUR TV,? THIS IS THE PROBLEM CHANGE THAT AND YOU WILL GET YOUR TV BACK. BUT DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR TO SAVE YOU SOME TROUBLE LATTER KEEP THE POWER BOX UNPLUGGED WHEN NOT IN USE IT GETS PRETTY HOT EVEN WHEN ITS OFF, UNPLUG FROM THE LITTLE BOX OR FROM THE WALL. BUT DO IT IT WILL SAVE YOU IN THE LONG RUN. PRO-SCAN IS JUNK GOOD PIX BUT I DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE HERE AS LONG AS MY 1985 RCA LOL... HOPE THIS HELPED. ROBERT . OH YAH LET ME KNOW IF YOU TRYED A DIFFERENT CONVERTER AND IF IT WORKED.

T.v.wont turn on still under factory warranty
99% sure it's going to be your power supply. If it's under warranty then by all means use it - if not, try another power supply or get your old one repaired. Most of the time it's a 1000mF@25v capacitor in the P/S that goes bad.

A Proscan 19LA25Q does have a digital tuner.
Will not turn on
The 12 volt power supply is bad. Go to ebay look for 120 volt ac input and 12 dc output @5 amps.
The output plug is 5.5mm x 2.1mm in size. Look at polarity symbol to be sure the + is the center hole. They are about $16.00.

yah you must be misinformed in revers i have the same tv and yes it is digital ready ! why else when you set it up to scan for channels the first time it looks for analog and then digital do you have you manual or what?
