Replace the main board (BU1 Board).
This is a problem in the audio circuit.
The part # is A-1257-244-A.

B+ over voltage protection (OVP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 3 blink fault. This is also a problem in the power supply circuit, check T603 and R672.

Unfortunately, there is NO reset button or menu on this set. If you could explain the problem in detail, i would be glad to tell you the probable diagnosis.

A newly designed LCD TV has various capacity functionalities. For example, AV 2 or AV4 are connection capabilities with DVD or VCR recorder device peripherals. It sounds like the backlight or an inverter board on the television may have failed. Check your warranty status on the television to see if you can get it repaired by the manufacturer for free.

Usually it takes a little knowledge of basic electronics and some soldering skills. If you have these, then it never hurts to try to fix it yourself. Its already not working. Just make sure to work safe, unplug before working on it and close up before turning on. If you think its a power supply you might be able to see some blown capacitors, or you might get lucky and find a blown fuse inside.

Could be the inverter panel wich must be replaced or a broken fuse on the t-conn panel.
When the fuse on the t-conn panel is defect there must be a little light in the screen.

Take all the screws out of the base,might require an Alan wrench.Take mellet make a couple taps.Should pull the base right out.

Sounds like a power supply issue. Do you hear clicking noise from the set when this happens? Also when it does stay green do you have sound?

Okay would love to help you with this issue but most good reults if you choose to chat with me! The prblem with these color changes are most have to due with the aparatus your connecting to the Tv and not the Tv itself. But if you got it on all things its a decoder issue have the tech check the decoder. You will be glad you did.
