Games and applications "operation failed"
you may have to reinstall the O.S of the Phone.
They call it upgrading the Firmware and that will fix the issue!
And don't delete any files which are hidden under the folder " System"
That causes this issue!

I had to reinstall the firmware as I had this issue after altering some files in the phone and I couldn't use any applications and games apart from walkman and the Internet browser!

the phone needs to be flashed for it to be revived again. Also are you sure its not a battery problem? Your battery might be the one that is dead, it might just be a coincidence that the phone went off when you pressed the game executor. But if you are convinced that the battery is not the cause of the problem, then your software files must have been corrupt.
The game executor has damaged the phone software or maybe it has virus that damaged the phone files and reinstalling the software is what is known as flashing.
Flashing a phone is like formatting the phone software and reinstalling another one afresh. After the flashing, your phone would seem as if its a brand new one.
Now, flashing the phone is not what you can do by yourself, except you have the equipment and technical know how.
There are experts that specializes in flashing phones. They have various phone cables for different phone models and brand, include the phone software.
I would urge you to look for such expert within your vicinity, so that your phone can be flashed and revived again.
You might leave the phone for a while, make sure the battery is fully charged, then turn on the phone again. You might be lucky that the phone turns on. You should at least leave the phone for a day. But if that doesn't work, you can then proceed for the flashing.

and if you look at that and think to yourself 'i dont like the looks of that' then look up sony ericsson update service on the sony ericsson website
My w850i cannot turn on.. only white screen
sometimes a very low battery will cause screen-freeze...once fully charged, remove the back cover and pull the battery out for 30 seconds and replace the batt and cover...the phone should power on.
