Woops, famous WSOD (White Screen of Death) this is all due to firmware bug you need to update the Software/Firmware of your phone, but no need to worry if you got the Data Cable of your mobile, you can solve this by yourself. I've done it many times for many SE Phones, with 100% success.

to solve this problem u just have to update the sony ericson software from below link.

but make sure u back up all contacts files and everything before updating.
just follow the instuctons and it will be fine.

Check the voltage on your adapter using a multimeter. If low then the adapter must be checked on another similar phone or otherwise try another adapter with you phone so as to confirm.
