it happens when the connection belt got damage . connection belt which connect the mother to LCD. that is why LCD ( screen )does not show any thing.

Take the battery out and feel both sides with your finger. There is probably a noticeable bump. It sounds like one of the battery cells "shorted" which would explain the temporary heating and now the lack of battery life. Plan on replacing the battery (with a Motorola battery, not an aftermarket battery) and make sure that you are using a Motorola charger. The phone should be as good as new! Randy
