No gas to the burner or oven

Hello deodatramdin - If both the range and oven are not working, try reprogramming the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. While the unit is turn off, confirm that the shut off valve on the gas pressure regulator is in the "ON" position (typically located on the back left-hand side of the range). This valve shuts the gas off to the oven. Once you have verified, turn the range back on. If it proves to be ineffective, then the range could possibly be experiencing an issue with the EOC, wiring failure or faulty power supply. Contact a certified technician to move forward accurately and to assist with the repairs.

Self clean instructions

Hello jeffreyandje - Do you have the exact model number so I can provide you instructions on how to use the self-clean mode? Meanwhile, the manual and operating instructions can be found on the manufacturer link. I will recommend taking off the last letter of the model number so you can pull up the information.

MY oven is not working. The burners and broiler do

If you can see the oven ignitor glowing bright orange when you turn theoven control on to say 350 degrees. (look down at the back bottom of the oven compartment near the back wall of the oven).

If there is no glow, then you have a faulty ignitor. If you can see the ignitor glowing and the owen doesn't light, then it is the thermocouple that controls the flow of gas from gas supply valve that is bad.

You'll need to replace the defective part(s) to get the oven working properly. You can find the parts on the link included along with some pricing at searspartsdirect.com but you can buy parts anywhere you wish.

You'll have to pick which oven version you have as you need one more letter at the end of your model number (it's usually a small printed letter after the larger model number on the label eg: A, B, or C.) so you can look at the parts list to select the correct parts for your oven.

Hope this helps you get cooking again! Best Regards!

Flame too high on gallery gas stove

Hello Carlos - Does you range have an LP conversion kit installed? If so, I would recommend verifying that unit is set to appropriate fuel and fuel conversion kit is finished. Also trying adjusting the pressure regulator and/or air shutter.

Oven will not reach proper temperature

Hello Cynthia, contact a professional that your manufacturer suggests. Sounds like the mechanical thermostat, oven sensor or EOC needs to be diagnosed for replacement.

Oven won't heat to temperature

Does it reach the temperature and then back down, or does it take too long to get to your set temperature? Either you have a faulty element or a bad communication error with the main control board.

Smelling gas from my Frigerdiare oven when I turn

The pilot light might have gone out, so please do not attempt to light it with a match as gas is
built-up inside the oven. You might want to check the gas supply connection to the oven with a little soapy water to see if any bubbles appear - if so tighten the connection.

I have a frigidaire oven that has been taking

Hi
As the broiler works but it won't come to temperature, then the issue is either with the igniter or the oven temp. sensor that is bad and should be replaced. Probably, this issue could be due to igniter, you would need to check the continuity at igniter using a multimeter. Please refer the below link for details. Also check the gas valve, it has a bi-metal that open when a certain amount of current flows through it to heat it up. In this case the gas valve may be faulty as you can smell gas leak. Make sure thaat the glow bar is not cracked. Faulty igniters can allow correct current to flow to the oven gas valve for it to open but not get quite hot enough to ignite the gas burner immediately. Igniter check sheet .....Hope this helps....

Fridgatare modle #FGG3054KFB I have a frigidaire

It shouldn't be burning yellow and emitting soot at all;sounds like on of these possible causes-
(a)blocked burner airways(this can lead to yellow tipping and sooting on LPG powered appliances because insufficient air is getting through to the burner causing it;you can also get this effect on LPG barbecues say if dead insects or spiderwebs are in the burner pipes and airways after a period of storage),
(b)incorrect aeration being set when the burner was converted using LPG jets(too much gas and not enough air causing yellow flames/smells and sooting),
or (c) if you use propane cylinder gas a dicky or faulty regulator. I would get it looked at investigating all the possibilities I mention and taking action to correct this where necessary ie clearing the burner airways(if this is causing your problem), adjusting the aeration in the burners until you get a clear noiseless blue flame without any excessive yellow and sooting(but even after good adjustment you may find still get a very slight yellow tip without sooting at the top of the flame;this does happen with propane gas and there is a slight tendancy for this to happen more often with butane-butane tends to display very slight yellow tips on ignition increasing slightly as the burner warms up to full temperature) or if you use propane cylinder gas replacing the regulator if that is necessary.

Oven won't heat up

If the control is working ( buttons seem to be working)

The problem is usually the igniter not reaching the correct amp draw .When the igniter does not reach the correct amp draw it may allow the gas valve to partially open or not open at all. The igniters are inexpensive and easy to replace. This video will walk you thru the correct procedure for testing an oven igniter. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models are available. All parts come with installation instructions.

F1 flashing on gas stove-manual says to push

HI. This actual code cannot be cleared by pushing the Clear/off button. This actual button will usually be located on the touch pad and is a basic cancel button. You can try to reset the entire control board by simply unplugging the unit for 5 minutes. This may correct the issue. If resetting dose not correct this fault, the necessary actions are to have the defective main PCB replaced, asap.
