F30 ERR message on Frigidaire Professional Series Range
I am a tech and just had this happen to me, so I can feel your frustration. I have replaced the temp probe, erc, and still had the problem.
Open the back, with the unit unplugged. On the lower right hand side there is a relay, beside the relay there is a "safety T-stat" disconnect from the circuit by removing one wire and read for continuity. If none is detected, replace t-stat and voila... stove works. Much cheaper than erc and probe...
Cfef 372ec4 Frigidaire f 30 problem
Hi - Typically error code F30 for Frigidaire range indicates an issue with the sensor probe or the wiring harness between sensor probe and EOC. If you have already changed the sensor, I suggest checking the wiring or contacting a professional to move forward accurately. You can try resetting the unit and see if the error code will clear. You can either unplug the unit or flip the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn on the range. If issue continues, once again contact a professional to properly diagnose the unit.
Frigidaire feb386wech single oven error codes
HI. the F-1 code represent s a failed oven control board. you will need to replace the clock or, oven control in this case. it is damaged.
Ok, the F-3 represents a failed oven temp sensor device. Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.
Kenmore Elite made by Frigidaire
The F30 error code indicates that the electronic oven control board detects an "open" oven temperature sensor probe circuit.
This is usually caused by a failed oven temperature sensor probe.
Replacing this component will likely fix your problem.
You can order this part from www.searspartsdirect.com website.
If you replace this part yourself, be sure that you unplug the range to disconnect electrical power before accessing this component.
On some models, you can replace the probe by removing the screws that mount this component to the inside back wall of the oven.
Carefully pull the probe inside the oven cavity until you encounter the wire harness disconnect plug.
Unplug the sensor and replace it with the new one. Mount the new probe on the back wall of the oven.
On some models, you have to remove the lower back oven panel to access the sensor probe.
If you replace the probe and still have this problem, you will need to unplug the range and measure the resistance through the violet wires that plug into the control board (this is where the sensor probe circuit is connected to the control board).
If the resistance through the oven temperature sensor probe circuit is normal (about 1100 ohms at room temperature) then the electronic oven control board will need to be replaced.

F7 frigidaire
Hi,
F7 is a EOC(electronic oven/clock control) failure.
Replace and it would fix the problem.
Note :- Some models have 3 to 5 years warranty.
Thanks.
Oven door will not open.
There should be a manual unlock along the top of the door. If not unplug from wall and wait a few it has gotten hot enough that it thinks it is in cleaning mode. After a bit it should reset. I hope your turkey isn't in there! Good Luck!
Installed a new electric wall
I called the place where we bought the oven and after 1 toll free call with many options to go through and talking to three different women I was able to talk to a repair person who ended up being 25 miles away! Since this was on a Saturday he came out today and all it was was a loose wire!! Thanks for getting back to me. Lorelee
My frigidaire ovens broiler came on, on high, when i was baking at a very low temp (170).
If your Frigidaire oven's broiler unexpectedly turned on while you were baking at a low temperature, it could indicate an issue with the oven's temperature control system. Here are a few possible explanations and troubleshooting steps:
- Incorrect oven setting: Double-check that you have selected the correct oven function and temperature settings. Ensure that you have chosen the "bake" function rather than the "broil" function. Also, verify that the temperature setting is appropriate for baking.
- Malfunctioning temperature sensor: The oven's temperature sensor, also known as the oven thermostat, could be faulty. A malfunctioning sensor may send incorrect temperature readings to the oven control board, causing it to activate the broiler unexpectedly. Consider contacting a professional technician to inspect and potentially replace the temperature sensor if necessary.
- Control board issue: The oven control board, which regulates various oven functions, could be experiencing a malfunction. If the control board is sending incorrect signals to the broiler, it may activate when it shouldn't. Consult a professional technician to assess and repair the control board if needed.
- Wiring or electrical problem: Inspect the oven's wiring and electrical connections for any signs of damage or loose connections. Faulty wiring or poor electrical connections can cause erratic oven behavior. It's advisable to have a qualified technician examine the electrical components to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Model #FEFL79DSA Frigidaire electric range. 2004 vintage. Last night wife was cooking supper at 350F. After half hour she noticed sizzling sound which was not normal.
Based on the information provided, it seems like there may have been a problem with the oven's thermostat or temperature sensor. It's possible that these components malfunctioned, causing the oven to continue heating beyond the set temperature.
Since the issue seems to have resolved itself and the oven is currently functioning properly, it's difficult to determine the exact cause of the problem. However, if the issue occurs again, it's important to have a professional technician inspect and repair the oven to ensure that it operates safely and efficiently.
Intermittent issues can be difficult to diagnose and can potentially be dangerous, so it's important to take any signs of malfunction seriously and address them promptly.
