I am experiencing loud popping and crackling sound at high volume after speaker is warmed up. Speaker cones move smoothly when pushed gently by hand. Sound almost seems to be coming from inside.

Sounds like it could either be the crossover circuit or a distorted speaker cone. The cone is the easy one to check. You need to check that it moves freely at all points. It sounds like you have partly done this, but you just need to make certain you went all the way around the cone checking for free movement. However I don't think it is the cone, because of the slow way it acts up. That could be the crossover circuit. If you have a look at it and see either an IC or transistor looking parts, then I would have thought it would be one of them acting up - presumably getting hot! If you can have the speaker outputting sound, with access to the crossover, you could spray these parts (one at a time if there is more that one) with Servisol Freezer spray. You simply wait till the fault develop then spray the suspect part. If it returns to normal you have located the faulty part. If nothing happens, wait till the coolant wears off then try the next suspect. Places like Maplin stock the Freezer spray.

Tweeter

What is the make and model of the speaker? To trouble shoot this, you need to be able to take the unit apart. There is a circuit board inside called a crossover network, it might be bad OR the tweeter might be bad. To tell you should have a OHM meter for basic testing.

Problem with your JBL BoomBox2 speaker (or similiar) ?

Just found this out, after crazy searching & brainstorming. So if your speaker suddenly goes silent or sound comes and goes, you can check this out: At least the JBL BoomBox seems to have this integrated in its architecture so there's nothing we can do about it, complain to JBL : ) But to the problem: if the SOURCE of music/sound is too low, then the speaker may go into a "sleep mode" - silent. So ensure always your SOURCE of sound, connected to the speaker, has volume at least 80% to avoid this problem. Hope this helps & no one needs to ditch and buy a new one ! : )

How do I fix a BLINKING light on the jbl 10..G2 input signal board that causes no signal to go thru

A blinking light on the JBL 10" G2 input signal board can indicate a problem with the input signal. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the input cables: Make sure the cables are securely connected and there's no damage to the cables or the input jacks. Try swapping out the cables with a known working set to see if that resolves the issue.
  2. Check the source: Make sure the source device (such as a mixer or computer) is working properly and is sending an output signal.
  3. Check the input settings: Make sure the input settings on the JBL 10" G2 are correct. Refer to the manual for information on the correct input settings.
  4. Power cycle the device: Turn off the JBL 10" G2 and unplug it from the power source. Wait a few minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  5. Check for firmware updates: Make sure you have the latest firmware installed on the JBL 10" G2. Refer to the manual or the JBL website for information on firmware updates.
  6. Contact JBL customer support: If you're unable to resolve the issue with the above steps, contact JBL customer support for further assistance.
If the issue persists, it's possible that the input signal board on the JBL 10" G2 may need to be repaired or replaced. In this case, you may want to consider contacting JBL customer support for information on repair options.

JBL PRX 625 Speaker. How can we fix the overheating in the speaker please?

Question edited for clarity. Undo the screws at the back and look for a cooling fan. There is something in the centre that looks like one. Or contact JBL direct and put in a warranty claim. The overheating issue seems well documented. Although you shouldn't have to, you could easily cut a vent hole with filter at the base and a 4" case fan above the amplifier to pull out the hot air. 3 x 500 watt inside is bound to create heat. https://www.google.com/search?q=jbl+prx+625+overheating+problem ..

My JBL e45bt wireless headphones won't turn on. I've tried charging them overnight, but i doesn't help at all. How do I get this fixed?

If your JBL E45BT wireless headphones will not turn on, there could be a problem with the battery or the charging system. Here are a few things you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Make sure that the headphones are charged. If the battery is completely drained, the headphones will not turn on. Try charging the headphones for at least 2 hours to see if this resolves the issue.
  2. Check the charging cable and port to make sure they are working properly. Make sure the cable is securely plugged into the headphones and the power source, and that the port is free of debris.
  3. Try a different charging cable or power source to see if the problem is with the cable or the power source.
  4. If the problem persists after trying these steps, it is possible that there is a problem with the battery or the charging system. In this case, you may need to have the headphones inspected by a technician to determine the cause of the issue.
If you are not comfortable troubleshooting the problem yourself, it is recommended that you contact JBL customer service for assistance. They may be able to provide further guidance or offer repair options.
