I bought a kurio 7 thinking it'll be a great Christmas gift but its worthless if it wont charge...Ive read the DC plug doesnt seat well and so you have to put it in firmly...did that. It came outta the box with an 88% charge and is now down to 32%. Then I read you could use the USB to charge...trying that but not hopeful. ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? I NEED TO CHARGE THIS THING. Thank you!!

Typically if you hold the power button down for about 20 seconds the tablet will restart. Some tablets will have a pin sized hole on the back that is a reset button.

reset it back to factory settings

You'll need to do a factory reset: 1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power. 2. Release the Power button when you see the logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears. 3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection. 4. Press Volume Up continue. This will reset you device to factory settings, however anything on your SD card will still remain. At this point you will need to start fresh as if you just bought the device -- register with your email address, etc.

In order to download games and updates, wifi is required. Wifi can then be disabled, however some games do require wifi to play.

You will need to do a factory reset:- Power off machine.- Hold down + first and then POWER for about 10 seconds, release both buttons once Kurio screen loads .- When you get the open Android picture, press + to enter menu, use - to move down to "wipe data / factory reset" and press POWER again to choose.- Next press - to choose "YES" and press POWER to start reset.- Check for yellow text Formatting /data, formatting cache, Data wipe complete.- Choose reboot system now and press POWER to complete process.
