after removing the stainless cover l tried to disassemble the door further but found it difficult, there is a hard thick plastic cover, i took my dremel and cut a small hole large enough for a wrench to fit and tighten the thin nut on the handle, line up the hole with where the nut would be on the other side, its a pretty quick and easy fix, l dont understand why they didnt have the openings there throughthe plastic to do the tightening since it is the stainless steel that keeps the water where it should be.

Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump.

Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn

The accumulator filter is below the spray arm radiant shield, guard and wash impeller and above the wash motor and pump. Check the connection to the drain tailpiece from the dishwasher under the sink and make sure the clamp hasn't slipped off and is tight. Check the drain hose from the dishwasher and be sure it's not split or damaged. Check the drain spur on the drain tailpiece and see if it's corroded or leaking. Check the trap under the sink as well and make sure it's not leaking.
