Krups Nespresso Citiz & Milk,

This a simple problem. When you move the hadle to make coffee this is pressing a micro switch on which give the signal so the water pamp start and brew the water throght the coffee.
Now in your case this micro switch stuck at on position all the time so by switching on the machine then the pump start and thus you have water non-stop.
The solution is disassemble the machine and check the microswitch, you can us a lubricant like UD40 or similar. If the switch still remains stuck then you need to replace it.

Krups xp 4050 leaks water under unit

There are many possible points that the leak can be.

All points of the water supply from water tank to the pressure pump then to boiler and finally to coffee group. All this are connected together with plastic or Teflon pipes with easy fit unions secure with clips

You need to disassemble the machine and work it without the side panels of course with extra care since power electrical cables are exposed.

In this way with a very good visual check while the machine is in operation you can identify the leaking point and fix it.

KRUPS XP7240 leaking water

My XP7240 has the same problem. I went through all cleaning cycles and the filter in the boiler still gets clogged up with coffee oils. This causes back pressure and blows the boiler seal out. Easy replacement if you can turn a screw driver.
Part number for Seal: MS-5015004. You might as well change the Jack too. (the part that slides into the boiler that compresses the ground coffee. (this is a redesigned double seal unit) Part Number MS-0697072.
Both these parts you can get at http://www.krups.com/Tools/Contact/Contact.htm choose your country and email the parts list. Mine cost in Australia $27.00 including shipping.
Good luck.

We have a Krups KP1010 pod brewing machine which

The most posibble problem from your description but since usualy happents when the machine stay in the store for long time is that the vibrating pump and ot other parts like valves, boiler have been stuck and goggled from dry calcium which were in the all water sytem parts of the machines.
When you keep themachine frequntly used you are avoding this situation.
Now the machine need to completely desasemble and every one of the above parts must be cleaned with a wire brush so the calcium layer move out. If you used to decalcify the machine often before put in in the store then their is a big chance that you will need only to clean parts. However if you did not decalcify offten then you might need to replace some parts like boiler thermoblock which due to the costruction it can not be recover bck to its original condition.
So if you are not able to do the above your self then we strongly advice to get a quate before proceeding with maintnance since if it is more than half the replacement cost with a new machine then we advice to proceed with replacement.
Good luck and thanks for using FixYa.

When machine grinds coffee it makes winding noise

This is a desgin flaw of this machine. Hapens when you use the machine over a long continous period. The water damp makes the grinder wet a it cakes up. The spring is supposed to remove the debris but does not work well. Remove beans form bean tray. Remove the bean tray (1 screw and pull the knob off). Use a vacuum cleaner to **** out the wet bean grind. Dry the wet damp area and use a tooth pick to remove the bean grind (especially around the scute). Let dry and assemble, Good luck!

Hi. I have a Krups XP7245 combination

I had the same problem with the XP7240. The rubber seal in the plunger that pushes out the coffee cake after brewing is worn or dirty. You need to romve the cover by taking of the top (screws in the bean collector and cover tray for cleaning tablet). You have to be rough because parts are clicked together. The face of the machine comes off by pulling it upwards (it is just clamped with plastic nudges). Once that is done you remove the 4 screws that were hidden by the stainless steel face. Then remove the electronic board (leave connections on except for bean grinder and boiler). Grinder can then be removed followed by the cream cover. Remove the 15mm steel nut on top of the arm. Remove the front and display. Then use a torix on top of the brew plate and an allan key on the bottom of the plunger. Unscrew, remove spring and seal (very small cup). Let me know if you need more instructions (take a rainy sunday afternoon to do this)
