Jen-Air gas range mdl JGS9900BDB.
Hi. This is the result of circuit damage, within the touch pad board. Most units will have the touch pad, and main control board totally integrated(one whole piece). There are a few Jenn-Air(aka whirlpool) models, that may have the touch board separate from the main control board, connected via ribbon cable. if this is the case, simply replace the touch pad board.
NOTE_ Damage of this nature is not repairable. the entire circuit board must be replaced.
Get a f3-1 error code we just had a new ignitor
This means the controller has detected a problem related to the temperature sensor. It could be the sensor itself, pinched/shorted wires or connector to the sensor not seated properly.
Sometimes this is due to a failure in the controller itself. If this turns out to be the case, we may be able to help you. We repair oven control boards.

Bruce

Jenn aire, After the cleaning cycle the door has
This is an occasional problem for many brands. 1st, it depends whether you have a lever in front that locks the oven door or the door is locked electronically. If you have the lever, it is common for the lever to get bent too much to the right or left so that it does not (after while) come back to the full open position, yet it looks like it is fully in the open position. You will have to bend the outer part of the handle in order for it to travel the extra distance to fully release. Or you will need to lift the top (be careful if it is sealed burners;some sealed burners need to be removed before the top can be lifted or you will damage the burner tubes or the ignitor wires). You will then see a plate to the front of the range where the lock mechanism is located. Under this plate you will find the lock engsging pin or finger and posibly an electric selenoid coil ( basically a magnet coil that energizes the lock pin/finger). You must release this from the latch arm or latch hole on the oven door. This will get the door released and now you need to determine if the selenoid or the mechanism was at fault. There also may be a small switch that is turned on/off that is attached to the mechanism and this is the safety fail switch that sends the signal to the oven control to operate or not operate in clean mode. This switch could be stuck or internally fused in the on position. Hope you have the tenacity and skill to determine all this. Good Luck, Macgivor
F9 message
F9 is a door latch error. You have to check the door latching system for functionality
F9 code
what does f9 mean and how do I fix it?
When I turn on a burner, all the other burners
Anytime you turn on a gas range all burners click for safety reasons. If a knob has been turned by mistake the gas lights to prevent gas from escaping into the room. If you turn the control knob past the LITE position after the burner lights you should be OK and stop the clicking. If the clicking continues regardless you have a defective ignitor switch that must be replaced.
