all functions work except cleaning . fan comes on when clean selected . lock door but no lights come on and oven does not heat up. any ideas?
You've probably already read pages 34 through 37 of the owners manual for this oven. We had this stove in the house we bought and the owner wrote in his own directions, which seem to work fine:
1. Turn knob selector to clean.
2. Turn temp knob to clean.
3. Close and lock door.
4. Push enter button and turn dial clockwise to desired time.
5. Push enter button again.
You've probably already tried this, but just in case I figured I'd pass it along.

My probe indicator keeps beeping and won't shut off! Any button I push stops the noise but only for a few seconds, then it starts again. The probe was always in the way and came off a couple of years ago. I shut off the power but when it came back on, so did the beeping! It's been an hour and honestly, I'm about to start drinking.

mine did the same thing kept beeping and flashing prb, solution was it was mounted very close to the frame of wall and house must of shifted causing the wires on the outside to make contact with each other. adjusted the unit and beeping stopped .

The clock display goes real dim when oven is on. Now it is getting more dim without oven being on.
It's a bad capacitor on the clock/display board. The solution was posted elsewhere in FixYa. I had the same problem and was told I should replace the clock/display board, which would solve the problem, but costs about $150 plus labor. If you can desolder/solder small components on an electronic circuit board, you can fix this yourself. Mine was capacitor C3, originally a 68uF 35V component. I replaced it with a 68uF 63V as the closest one I could find at Jameco.com which was less than a $1. Lo and behold, my clock/display is back to normal! Saved a lot of money to fix it myself and I know it will happen again over time, so I know exactly what to do next time.

The oven light on my Jenn-Air SVE47100b slide-in range is on and will not turn off. We have checked the door, and it is closing properly. The light will not go off even when we push the button inside the door by hand. We have tried unplugging it, and the light comes on as soon as we plug it back it. Any suggestions?
It sounds to me like the switch that operates the light is malfunctioning. You're taking the right steps by pressing the switch by hand. Since that didn't work, either that switch is not working or there is another switch that is intended to keep the light on while the door is closed. You can look at that one too. The last thing to consider is if the light is relay controlled, the relay might be stuck closed and applying power to the light all the time.

I am getting a F7 error code and beeping on my Jenn Air Oven. When this happens the only buttons that work are the cancel button and clock button.
then i have to program the clock in order to use any other buttons. when i first plug in my oven i get a flashing # 56 then the oven starts to beep and then i see the F7. i press the cancel button and then the clock button, then program the clock in order to use any other buttons. this will only last for a few mins. until it starts beeping again. How do i attempt to free a stuck button and if that is not the problem should i start with the clock assembly first or the touchpad?
I have a jenn air SVE47600F.It just started beeping and giving a code 7.None of the controls work when it brings the code up,but controls work fine when code is not there. We have to turn the breaker off to reset it.Sometimes when we have been gone all day we'll come home and the range will be beeping and flashing a code 7

I had to interrupt the clean clyle of my Jenn Air Oven due to too much smoke. Not not matter what I do I can't get the door to open. I even ran it thru a clean cycle on lower heat, but it still won't open.
Had this EXACT same problem the day before a party where I needed the oven for lots of baking.... Tried all sorts of things, was about to call a repair man- I FINALLY got it to open by following the first two directions for putting it into self clean mode (turned both knobs to CLEAN), then when it said to lock door I tried to move the lock lever and bam it worked! Give it a shot! Good luck! (:

I REPLACED THE OVEN SENSOR AND STILL RECIEVING F3 ERROR CODE AND THE COOLING FAN IS RUNNING
Check the connection from the temp censor to the board. A break in the wire will cause the F3 and fan to run. Good luck.

I accidently put the lock on my oven. Now the lock
will not come off. Please help
Hi
The oven door and controls can be locked to avoid unintended use of the oven. The oven doors and controls cannot be locked if the oven is in use, or the oven temperature is 400°F (205°C) or above.
To lock the control panel and both oven doors:
To unlock the control panel and both oven doors:
Press and hold upper oven Cancel and Cook & Hold for 3 seconds. “Off” disappears from the display and “Lock” flashes while the controls and oven doors unlock.
Please see this link for more information as how to disengage the lock on your Jenn Air Oven---

This afternoon I turned the knob and POP!! a few sparks came out from under the knob. It was on left front burner (whirlpool top burner range). I opened the panel and looked inside, sure switch has some burn marks. At first I thought it was the shorted burner element, so I took right top element (which is the same as the one giving me a problem) and inserted firmly, and nothing.... it is not heating... so it got to be a faulty switch then for sure. But to make sure if it is a switch I took a switch from the right side of the panel and connected (correctly) to the left side. Plug the big power plug back to the wall, turn ON the left lower burner POP!!! Now i got 2 burned switches!!!! How smart of me. I verified burners for shorts, continuity, all fine. I verified the socket and cables for the burner, all looking like new. Where is the problem? I would hate to go out and buy new switch, install it and POP again!! What else do I need to test?
So I went through 4 infinite switches POP POP POP POP...for some strange reason I replaced the oven burner and put a 5th switch and no problem. it was burner itself. I don't get it but it works
