Cant remove the flat plate which is under the

I have the same problem,You will need a 15/16 socket and a rachet.Remove grill, then burner cap to expose range mounting nut use socket 15/16 to remove this work all the time for proper cleaning, NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM, The nut is brass and it is screwed to the orifice holder, which seems to be made of aluminum.when i tried to back off the nut it freez up and continue to get tighter,as if it is cutting new threads in reverse,so im wondering if this metal combination of aluminum and brass is good, and if the severe heat in its path is not fusing the metals together.still trying to find answer. Flame flares up sporadically while cooking

Hi, Due this test, turn on all burners on high, as you turn them on, does the problem burner change in volume or size of flame? If all burners are on and you only have issues with that single burner you need to replace that burner valve only. If you have issues with all burners when the all are on, replace the regulator. I hope this helps and leads you in the right direction. I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gere_bf68e6055dd61249

Gas ignighters continue to spark

The most posible cause is that the ingiter have been mositure probably from a water leak and have be short the wires of the ingiter. Their is a small chance that it will dry by it self and be normal again. If not you can remove the top and reach for the ingiter, is a plastic box with a lot of wires in and out and with hair dryer you can try to dry it. If it still sparking again then you need to replace the igniter

Ignitors are not working

Electric gas igniters sometimes get stuck in one position causing a clicking sound. The clicking sound that you hear is the electric arc that is pulsing from the igniter conductor (wire) to ground (the gas burner). It receives power from the electrical outlet that the stove is plugged into.
Residue from food and sometimes cleaning products may be preventing the igniter from producing a spark (Arc) to the base of the burner. This is a common problem that occurs when the stove has been cleaned or food is allowed to build up. Make sure that the igniter and the burner base are clean and dry. This will help with proper operation. Oven cleaner and a small tooth brush may be used to accomplish this. Another problem with ignition may occur if you have too little (touching) or too much space between the igniter and the base of the burner; it will prevent the burner from igniting. You should only have a little more space than the thickness of a nickel between the burner base and the igniter. A good “blue” arc from the igniter to the burner base is optimal. If this doesn’t work, you may need to replace the electric igniter module. Good luck.

Gas igniters on all five burners keep sparking (JennAir CCG556B)

Try cleaning around all the ignitors at each burner. Look for build up of cleansing product and/or food. Sometimes all it takes is a good cleaning and removal of a buildup to solve this. Worth trying before replacing a bunch of parts!

Jenn-Aire ccg2523 Natural Gas sealed cooktop.

Hi

It seems like you got water into the ignitor switches on under the knobs. Sometimes it takes 48 hours for this to dry out. Or you can pull the knobs and use a hair dryer on to dry out the switches. Also you can try to clean it. Please refer to the link and picture: e11b706.gif Please do accept the solution and revert for further assistance. Thanks Rylee

Creda 4 burner, converted to LP

Your flame is perfect if it's just the very tip that is yellow or white. All burners should be adjusted this way, on highest flame.

Clicking noise

Hi
Take a look at that switch and you will see that it goes around the shaft that turn the gas on, now, you will see two wires goin on top of a small electric sending unit on top of the shaft, thats whats keeping the spark ignitor goin, just repalce that small sending unit with a new one and you are done, Just pull the Knob off and open the door to reach the switches thats all...very simple. For the parts the best and cheapest place is:

Oven Clicking Noise

Sounds like you've got the igniter button stuck IN. If so it will probably carry on clicking until the battery runs down.
The battery might be behind the bottom drawer. If you take the battery out and the clicking stops then the striker button is probably glued up with something. Just clean it.
