I have a jen air

Hi, the error code implies that the Function key shorted or stuck..
You need to replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock (ERC).

Jjw8527 oven, digital display does not display,

This problem is likely a failure of the LCD display on the circuit board. I examined ours and it shows a burned spot inside the display unit. With our oven the display becomes visible after the oven has been on for some time. The board is simple to replace.

GE Oven JTP15BW Broil Element on, Bake Element off during baking.

I have the same problem. Just swap the 2 wires that are marked as 'broil' and 'bake' on the controller board. But sometimes it switches back, then I have to swap the wires again.

You might want to leave the 'broil' post unconnected to prevent burning food..

replace the oven sensor . if this does not correct . look at the ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL. THE SENSOR TELLS THE CLOCK THE TEMPT AND THE EOC CONTROLS OVEN TEMPT . . now don't forget to ck the element first and the 220 power . .. if i/2 of the power is missiing due to a triped fuse the low tempt or not temp is possible.. mm

I have a Jenn Air Oven micro combo wall unit. The

Hello- The code described F1/ F7 indicates a 'stuck' key on the control panel. The problem is fairly common, and is not caused by computer. The panel is actually more expensive than the computer. On site diagnosis is needed to confirm. The switch is on a circuit board behind the panel and is not serviceable. Find a good service tech in your area to check it out. Wish I had good news, but I installed several of these under 1 year warranty period.  So- let me know if this info helps- have more if needed.   Thanks- Ed

Are the oven ellement retaining screws secured

If there is no slot for a screwdriver or cross point screwdriver, then, yes, it will be secured from the outside of the oven.
It will mean removing the rear panel, and possibly the top as well.
Hope this helps.

We do not have a manual for the jenn air wall oven

Actually I did not solve the problem as I'm just looking for a manual for the wall oven so I can set the clean cycle. I just can't see joining a service for just one manual.

Thanks,

Check for a tripped breaker or blown fuse in your fuse box. Assuming they are separate units there is no common connection other then the power source.

First two burners, now all burners...

You have a defective spark module. This is a device which breaks down the 120 incoming volts to a 12 volt spark to ignite the burners. Replace module and problem should be solved.

How do you fix the clock display

No or dim display? You can replace the clock at about $160.00, or Check for a burned capacitor on the clock board, The likely culprit is labeled C3 on the board, its a 35 Volt 68 mF capacitor that needs to be replaced with a high temp (105 degree C) capacitor . Any capacitor that shows signs of discoloration and or leakage should be replaced with the same value but high temp. component. You can use regular capacitors of near equal values in a pinch but find the good ones of the correct values for a long term fix.

I've forgotten how to use clean, please help

Here's a link to the Jenn-Air web site with a free owners manual that you can download.. They have two different ones listed, so rather than post a direct link to the manual, I post the link that will allow you to select the correct one for your oven.

You need a couple more letters added onto the end of your model number (either a AW or CW) to determine the correct manual for your oven.

My jenn air single oven does not maintain

this is what you most likely need. Age, or the clean cycle, can cause them to start to malfunction.

http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-W131B-%3d%3di1364&PartID=1364

It is inside the oven, and comes out/goes in pretty easily, but you have to be careful when removing the old one, not to loose the wires in the hole, because then you have to pull the unit out from the wall and remove the back in order to plug the new one in.

One or more igniters are trying to light burners

When you turn the burner dial, all igniters spark. Most brands work this way. The dial activates all igniters to spark but only opens the gas valve attached to that dial.

Do you mean that they continue to spark even when you are not trying to light the stove?
