hi there.i presume you mean the line output transformer? the part number on the side is what you need ,then get in touch with grandata (uk company) who should be able to supply you with one.or alternatively chs.(chas hyde and sons).the problem now is that a lot of tv spares companies are now geared towards lcd and plasma spares,so its possible it would need to be put on special order.hope this helps, regards, steve

Singapore is a good place for electronic goods and spare part items I heard. If you are aware of your remote controls model number, you can get it from elctronic spare part shops there. If you haven't the model number, you just buy one universal remote control, which can be programmed for your Thomsun Tv. Just note the model number of the TV you specifed on your post here, and see the catelogue along with that universal remote control, whether your TV model is listed in it or not. If listed there will be a code for it to programme, and the procedeure for programming. OK.

you can get a cheap universal remote for about 5 bucks. But if your tv doesnt have a menu button on the set itself then some tvs you have to push either the volume buttons up and down at the same time and the menu should pop up. or it could be the channel buttons

The TV needs to go to a repair shop. But it might be cheaper to just buy a new TV.

if you want a manual fine tuned just go to set up menu then select preset and and then select manual fine tuned. select desired channel to tuned and then you can use the volume up/down button to manual search and tuned to the right frequency of the channel.

Hello I don't know from which zone you are now posting this problem. Whether it is from India, you must set the system to PAL BG to get colour and sound properly from your TV. If you are from abroad, find out the trasmission system there, and set it accordingly. It is best to set the system to Auto, to get the TV all system accepted. To adjust this, you just get into the menu, and surf for system settings, according to your TVs operation manual, and change it to AUTO., and select it. If so your TV will adjust itself to the system which it receves. OK.

The cost of ordeering a replacement part from outside India will be worth more than getting yourself a new set.
You have 2 options you either look for someone with a similar unit and a different problem and get their part.
Or simply just invest in a new set.

This is NOT your service centre site and you have made a complaint to the wrong forum but I shall help .Your repairer unfortunately is not sure of the fault and this is the case with many for not keeping the ethics of truth and promise.
I would not like you to attempt a repair which could be as this high since these sets- 29'new TV's are now marketed at very low price. If you invest this much and if the set fails Check out with the nearest dealer if you can have your set exchanged with a value for the TV in the present condition . If so negociate and decide as you will get few years of warranty.
If not ask for warranty on the new board or make a complaint to your consumer complaint forum... make a threat at least. and the work will be done faster.

IT COULD BE THE HIGH POWER TRANISTOR, WHICH IS LOCATED NEAR FLYBACK TRNASFOMER, OR IT MIGHT BE NEEDING GENERAL RESOLDERING ON PLACES WHERE HEAT HAS MADE THE SOLDER JOINT OF A COMPONENT TO BECOME LOSE (DRY JOINTS)

just one answer frimware filure did you skip or try to frimware you self with lan cable

Click on mode/memu button,hold it for few seconds,you will get the menu for serching the channels and it will auto store the programs.

Go into the menu settings and check whether it has a warmth tint function o, if on then turn it off and adjust the settings accordingly.

If this doesn't work then Maybe a power surge has damaged the box. Try using a different scart/hdmi cable which you know works... it could be a damaged wire.
If not, unplug the box and leave it with nothing connected for 24 hours to get rid of the static and try again. Thanks Rylee

hi there, a defective filter capacitor means a more defective parts near that part, do some test and check up with the rectifiers, resistors, and regulators. just consentrate on power supply section. ty

You will need an original replacement remote to adjust these functions I'm afraid. Good Luck
