mcdevito75 here, I would see the jeweler who installed the new batteries and ask to have the battery install double checked so they are makeing proper contact with the LCD movement. In the meantime you can try to hold down the MODE button for a few seconds and see if the display appears, also if the display screen has turned very dark, your Casio may have had it, as the LCD display could have gone bad. New batteries should bring up a display even after the watch has been stored. Hopefully the display is still a grayish color and the new batteries need re-alignment.

This is an old problem, but maybe this will help someone changing a battery on a Casio. Many Casio watches must be "zeroed out" by putting an pointed tweezers between the back of the battery and the AC terminal off to the side of the battery. On my old Casio Telememo 50, the AC terminal is in a very small hole just above the battery. On the Baby G force, it was in a wider opening, way at the edge of the watch. It has something to do with resetting the watches circuitry so it will operate again. Good luck!

depends on your use of watches and the environment you tend to be in. If you are somewhere that allows you to see whether there it is day or night, than using 12 hr setting will work just fine. However if you're in a place that keeps you secluded and you are not able to determine whether it is day or night than 24 hr. setting will help you keep track of not just the time, but whether it is day or night.

I have one also and number is 612574 so that must be a serial number. have no idea of value.

To set time and date, you must in "Time Keeping Mode" (display day, date & time) then press and hold the left-up button until it start flashing. To set press right-down button, to go next setting press left-down button. Unplug it for a couple minutes and then plug it back in to see if it will start up again, if not look in your instruction manual. If nothing about it, contact the company of your machine

Even much older watches that display day and date don't require you to change yourself manually so I can't imagine this would be the case. If the time part is working okay, bring to the jewellery store, they may have someone there to examine the mechanism. If time not working either, you probably need to wind it or change the battery

It's possible that some part in your watch hasn't been put back (properly) during the replacement procedure of the battery. I'd advise you to go back to the service point and let them check if all the internal part are complete (and in their right position)
