My printer keeps asking me in insert white paer

An easy way to solve this is to insert white paper to calibrate your printer. I hope this helps and have a nice day!

C5150 ALL IN ONE Printer

first of all it require servicing like cleaning of steel rod inside in the printer on which print heads move ,that you can do with lubricant oil and second thing you need to change the cartridges because they may be already dry because you have limited use. In short if you can do this entire thing well otherwise I advised you to show it service center.Hope this helps. Please rate my response.Thanks.Have a good day

I am getting the message

1. Get the unit into the "Support Menu" by following the steps below according with the product,

A. - Press and hold the "left arrow" key.

B. - Press the "Setup" key and release both keys.

Display should say "Enter Special Key Combo"

C. - Press and release the "OK" button

2. Press and release the right arrow button until the display says "System Configuration Menu". (on C8100 use Touch Screen)

3. Press and release the "OK" button.

4. Display should say "Hardware failure status". If not there already, Arrow Key over to "Hardware failure status",

5. Press and release the "OK" button.

6. Display should say "Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear".

7. Press and release the "OK" Button. Message changes to "Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue".

8. Press and release the "CANCEL" button as many times as necessary, so that, either the "Welcome to Photosmart Express" screen appears, or, the "Ink System Failure" screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.

9. Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.

10. Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer

11. Turn the unit on. The printer may display message "USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER" followed by "PRESS OK TO CONTINUE". Press OK.

12. If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If not, the printer will start the "ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS". Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page.

14. If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit.

How can I scan to

To use this feature in Windows, a destination must be programmed in the scan setup before scanning to a destination. See Set up the product Scan To button.

Load the originals that are to be scanned face-up in the automatic document feeder (ADF) input tray, with the top of the document forward, and adjust the media guides.

Lift the flatbed scanner lid and load the original that is to be scanned face-down on the flatbed scanner with the top, left corner of the document located in the lower-right corner of the glass. Gently close the lid.

On the product control panel, press Scan To.
Use the arrow buttons to select a file destination.
Press Start Scan or OK to scan the document to a file.

Scanning to e-mail is supported by any e-mail program that supports the Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) protocol. Many versions of popular e-mail programs seem to be MAPI-compliant. See the support information for your e-mail program to determine whether or not it is MAPI-compliant.

I can't get my print job deleted from my print que

Stuck, leave everything on, unplug the printer cable, then turn off the printer, wait a few seconds, turn it back on and then puug it back into the PC. You should be able to delete the 1st job now, unless it came from another pc sharing your printer, then you go to that PC and delete it.

Can't read my new memory card

Hi. Thanks for your question.
First of all to confirm your new memory card isn't faulty you need to try and use it in some other device (PC, Laptop, Camera, whatever you have available) once confirming that it is working you need to make sure your port in printer is still working. I would advice to use known good card and see if it works. Obviously if it don't you have printer. If it does it looks like you printer don't go with your new card. Please check in manual what cards printer producer recommend to use.
If you still didn't find solution please don't hesitate to come back and post what have you done so far and what results did you get. I'm sure one of Fixya experts will be able to help you.

Ink system has failed. error:

you should do a reset. follow these steps. Steps: Unplug the power cable from printer while the printer is powered on. Press and hold OK and HELP buttons while plugging in the power cord. Wait for the screen to go black or blank before releasing the keys. Just turn on the printer and configure your printer new Regards

Hi,

1. Go to start>control paned>printer and faxes.
2. Right click on the printer icon and select "Cancel all documents". Do it couple of times.
3. Close all the program and disconnect the printer from the computer.
4. Turn off the printer and then shut down the computer.
5. Restart the computer.
6. Turn the printer ON and then connect the printer to computer.
7. Start printing other documents.
