It will be ideal to reset the PC. so remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer driver software. Now reinstall the printer driver software and connect the Printer to be detected which will be detected as a new hardware and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.

You should be able to go to the manufacturer's website and download the driver's from under the support tab. If you can't find it they usually can be emailed.

You have to use the latest versios of the driver, just to be sure. For Vista (32 bit) the latest version is v1.2.118.0 and for 64 bit the latest version is v1.3.301.2. If you don't have it, I can share it with you.

bad news the manufacture is smart with those chips you will 10 two 1 have to purchase the correct cartridges brand new from a konica minolta supplier trust me we have tried to do this the rechipping hardly ever works especially when the machines have the latest firmware loaded

you need to let the computer recognize the printer and that by reinstalling the driver and the software but you need to delete the old one first then reboot and then install it again
