Everything hums but the oven does not get hot
Hi, welcome to FixYa.
To address your post, it sounds like possibly an over-temp cut-out tripped. Here`s what and where to look for for this, (it could also be faulty double line break relay, but not as common)
Fortunately if it is tripped, they are the manual reset type and are accessible behind the black grill/vent just above the lower door next to the lock latch assembly.
**Turn off the 40amp breaker at your service panel or sub-panel in the home before attempting any service...safety first**
With the power off, you should be able to remove the grill and push the red button in the center of the thermostat and that should fix your problem...as shown here,
If indeed the hi-limit is tripped you`ll know immediately because you`ll feel it click as you push it down. It will look like the image below...
Other than that if you call in a pro, I'd suggest you be sure they are an authorized B/S/H/ service provider ( B/S/H/ is the parent company for Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau, Siemens products ).
Let me know and I`ll watch for your reply and respond as soon as I can. Good luck.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)
Code f34 for my thermador
Hi,
According
to a Thermador error code book for a single Thermador oven.
It says its a air flow problem. This means it could be the fan motor
sensor telling the control board that it is not spinning fast or not at
all. or it could be a micro paddle switch that is activated by air
flow. Recap : if your fan blower motor has 4 wires going to
it, it has a sensor reading the rotation of the motor.... if yours
does not have this then you should look for a paddle switch. This could also be a result of fan may be too dirty to operate correctly. Try to clean the oven. If you had this error after electrical surge or outage recently, then turn off the dedicated circuit @ circuit breaker box for about 1 Hour and hopefully it would resolve the problem.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have a Thermador CM302BS oven and it will beep just once about every 30 minutes. No lights are on or anything?
If your Thermador CM302BS oven is beeping once every 30 minutes without any visible indication on the control panel, it's possible that the oven is experiencing an error or malfunction that is not being properly displayed. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the owner's manual: Consult the oven's owner's manual to see if there are any troubleshooting tips related to the beeping issue. Look for any error codes or messages that may be related to the beeping.
- Reset the oven: Try resetting the oven by turning off the circuit breaker that powers it, waiting a few minutes, and then turning the circuit breaker back on. This can sometimes clear up temporary issues with the oven's electronics.
- Check the oven's self-diagnostic system: The Thermador CM302BS oven has a self-diagnostic system that can be accessed by pressing a series of buttons on the control panel. Consult the owner's manual to see how to access the self-diagnostic system and check for any error codes or messages.
- Contact a repair technician: If you are unable to resolve the issue using the above steps, it's possible that there is a more serious issue with the oven's electronics that requires the attention of a qualified repair technician. Contact Thermador customer support or a local appliance repair service to schedule a service call.
It's important to address any issues with your oven promptly to ensure that it is operating safely and efficiently.
