What is error code f13?

The F13 fault code on this type of range indicates that the EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) on the control board is bad. This can be caused by a power surge or glitch through the electrical lines. You can try to reset the control board by completely unplugging the range (or shutting off the breaker) for 5 minutes. If the error code returns after plugging the range back in, then the control board for the range will need to be replaced.

Our Thermador oven starts to beep when you shut it off and the way we are getting it to stop beeping is to set up a fan in front of the open oven to get it to cool. This stops the beeping after 10 m

Check if the internal ventilation fan is running. It is intended to cool down the oven exterior. Some units made 2004-2007 can overheat during self-cleaning.

Oven stopped heating - F34 displayed.

Hi,
You get F34 error because there is excess heat within the oven.
You need to clean the cooling fan for any debris or dust, if this does not solve the problem replace the cooling fan.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for using Fixya.

There is no quick fix for this problem to get you up and running on this Thanksgiving day, sorry. Where are you located and I will see what resources are close to you so you can make the repair?

Thermador double electric oven shows

Hi

"Cal" which means calibration error is caused due to a bad control board. If relay board transformer open (E1 to E2), replace relay board. If still no clock functions replace electronic range control (also called clock or ERC). Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Where can I purchase a new LED display for my

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

The issue with these displays is they can lose their intensity over time, but also it can be contributed to the main control...specifically the transformer on the "C" series ovens, hence the only remedy is to replace the control/display kit.

I'd first suggest checking the main control if you feel you are capable, this is how...

1) Turn the breaker or power supply to the oven off while servicing...saferty first ( though you will need power to check the transformer, this is where an experienced tech may be necessary, you'll need to decide )

2) locate the control board behind the display ( this will require either moving the front panel or the top panel behind the display...in the plenum )

i.e.

macmarkus_197.jpg

Then identify the PCB/control board...

macmarkus_194.jpg

The large arrow identifies the main control, the small arrow is the transformer location on the board

3) Remove the control or place it at a vantage point you can perform the following voltage checks, this is where some experience or electrical knowledge comes in handy...

i.e.

macmarkus_195.jpg

If the values listed in the test chart all are o.k. then you need a display only...if not you'll need the control board. ( Before you ask, I don't know of any transformer supplier...but then you're gambling nothing else is defective on the control anyway, not worth it in my opinion, that's your call )

Now to answer your question about availability though, one can find these "display's" at "repairclinic.com" for around $225USD and includes what I've attached here...

macmarkus_193.jpg

The "PCB" or control as it is referred to as well is also available at said location for around $175USD, it will include this...

Hope this helps move you forward. Let me know if I can assist you further and good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)
