Bernzomatic ts 4000 flame adjustment
There is no adjustment on the ts4000. The ts8000 has the ability to adjust by turning the knob while depressed, however the ts4000 does not. If you use a hose with an in-line regulator between the cylinder and the torch that would give you the ability to adjust your flame. Make sure the hose and regulator used are suitable and rated accordingly.

Frozen locknut on burner Thermador SGSX365ZS
First I would try heating it up until it is red and then twist it off. If that is not an option for you then I would get a rotary tool (hobby size) with a cutoff wheel and carefully cut into it from the side about halfway through. That will get it.

Flames are very strong and
Hi,
To start the conversation, i would like to inform you that it could be a risky situation. That's caused by delayed ignition... the
electronic control cards have timers in them so that ignition cannot
occur after the gas valve opens for more than a few seconds...then it
shuts the gas valve off.It is that function that has failed...odds are in the 90% range that replacing the control card will solve the problem.Another cause of delayed ignition is the ignitor too far from the burner, or low gas pressure at the pilot light. You need to properly diagnose and test the above mentioned components.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

We have a Thermador SGC365R which was installed in
Hello- The extra low simmer burners are indeed troublesome. Sometimes you do have to drill-off the burners, sometimes all of them. This is can be very time consuming depending on if you have the right tools. The issue is you have to get the top off the unit in order to access the spark module and switches that come with the Potentiometer kit (the parts they will need to replace). As well, they will have to replace the Venturi Tubes that were drilled off and the orifice holders as well because the venturi screws into this. I would get a parts cost and labor estimate and consider also the cost of installing a new cooktop. I have done many of these, it's the same on their ranges, and it can take a couple of hours. I will say that I have never needed another persons help to do the repair. Hope this helps, best regards.

Thermador sgcs365rw - I need
Hello- You got lucky and only have one stuck, unfortunately you will need to order a few more parts. The only way to get the venturi out is to drill it off, drill it down enough that you can get the burner around what use to be the nut portion of the venturi. You will also need to get the orifice holder that the ventrui screws into under the cooktop. These parts are pretty cheap. You could try to put some LIquid Wrench around the ventrui overnight but be sure not to try to force it out too much because the gas supply tube to that burner can get creased if the orifice holder starts to turn...
What works best for me to drill the venturi is a countersink, preferably for metal, which has it's largest diameter bigger than the outside of the venturi. Get some cutting oil and start drilling, the ventrui's cut pretty easily but take your time and try not to damage the burner. Once you get down real close to the burner you can try to carefully pry the burner over the remnants of the venturi. Good luck, hope this helps. Best regards.

Is the one that does not light the progressive slow cooking knob one? Does it output gas at all, can you tell? If it doesn't light even with a match I would think it is not putting out any "fuel" so to speak..
Let me know, just reply here and I will get right back to you.
Thanks,
Tim

Electronic ignition won't stop clicking, turns on
HI, My surface burners keep
"clicking" even after the burner is light: There are a few
things to check for. Make sure the electrode ( the small metal piece
that the spark comes
off from ) is clean and the holes in the burner are clean, use a pin or
paper
clip to clean out the burner holes and NOT a tooth pick as these
can
break off and make things worse. Example of a burner. The next thing to check
for are the ignition switches
under the
surface control knobs, the switches can twist and break and keep the
spark module on and
the spark keeps "clicking" even when the burner is light. If every thing
looks
good, you may have a bad spark
module, replace
it. Sometimes cleaning can get moisture into the surface switches, try
drying
them with an hair dryer to see of this will help. Repair
and checking tips for surface burners.
TIP:
Hello,
I have a Kenmore Elite Gas range/oven. This morning I noticed the range
top
ignition was clicking all by itself every 15-30 seconds.
I checked all of the knobs to assure they were off and they were.
All burners including the oven light as normal but the ignition will not
stop
clicking.
-
It is now clicking every 2-3
seconds!
- Does anyone have any suggestions?
- P.S. I turned off the gas and electric until resolved.
While previously
cleaning the range control knobs, one of
those switches got wet and was completing the circuit to the spark
module
causing it to fire off sparks. A little help from my wife's hair/blow
dryer and
were all fixed!
More information, you can check this link too. fixitnow.com/2004/09/appliance-repair-revelation_17.htm. Hope it helps. Take care.

We have a Thermador PCG486ED/01 Stovetop and the 2
Hello there:
A burner doesn't work
The
most common problem for gas surface burners is that they get gas but
don't light. This is generally caused by dirt or grease splatters on the
burner itself. Residential-grade range/stove burners are round and have
small holes around their perimeter to allow gas to flow out and create a
round flame. The gas coming from these holes is often ignited by a
small vertical row of holes on the side of the burner. If these vertical
holes are clogged or obstructed, the gas can't ignite.
The
solution is to clean the burners thoroughly. Use a toothpick to clear
the small vertical holes, then allow the burner to dry completely and
try lighting it again. If it doesn't light immediately, either repeat
the procedure or you will have to troubleshoot the gas supply line that feeds the burners sometimes the valve that feeds the burners will fail and may need to be replaced if you do not feel comfortable doing this type of repair call a qualified appliance repair technician.
OK?
Best regards Michael
