just type 192.168.2.1 into your browser and it will get you into the settings, just as a cd would but you still have to manually enter your settings with either way of setup.

Belkin Router not allowing an Internet connection

I'm using a cable modem and it used to be plugged into my wirless router, then I had an ethernet cable running from the router into my PC's (I have 2 connected via cables, laptop via wireless). Now my router is not letting me connect to the internet on either PC, but it seems my home network is still running. The "connected" light just flashes when I think it should be on constantly and the WLAN light flickers like it should do. I've looked at everything on the setup menu and can't see anythings changed, in the internet status it says "not connected", I've even restored factory defaults and it's still not working. The only way I can get online is to plug my modem directly into one of my computers.

Anyone got any idea's as to why it's not working?

It's not unheard of for a router to fail. When you connected the computer to the Modem, did you use the same cable that was connected to the router? Does your internet connection require a username and password? If so, is that configured in your modem, or the router? If not in the modem it must be the router.

Are you trying to install the router.
You can do it manually without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem
Then you need to connect the computer to the router ad the modem to the router.
