Same video-settings?
Same amount of RAM?
Same "speed" of RAM?

Move the disk-drive from one computer to another and boot from that disk-drive, to be sure that you are running _identical_ software on each hardware.

Can't say what the colours on your case wires are because they do vary but they should be marked up PWR SW (or PWR BTN), HD LED, etc.
Looking at the pin layout there should be a row of four with the pin on the far right missing and underneath a row of five with the last one on the far right being unused.

5 & 6 are Hard drive and 7&8 are reset

Not official ones, but Win 7 will natively support the motherboard. the only caveat being bios support.

As per discription provided by you, Suspect the physical RAM is having problem. Check and insert the RAM properly may solve your problem.

You can use a manual switch off a computer and connect to the on and off switch on the motherboard.

though itz unclear to me of wat os u r using..
assuming that u r using win xp pro sp2..n directx installed..
check if Audio device is enabled in bios..

howevr,download microsoft kb888111update n install it..u need to re-install orupdate the device driver (may b manually)..logon to internet n seek thepackage/device driver..along wid the company, there will b a list of suchsite n driver download links if u search by the model name on a searchengine (like google)..

download themonto a location; if the driver is in a zip format, unzip it,if itz in.exe form, just run it; if done manually it'll ask for the correctdriver and location; relocate the path and a.inf file (wat it'll askfor)....goto the device manager n verify, if installed properly..!!
also download n install "k-lite mega codec pack"....

but always better to consult ur system admin/vendor....

If your monitor is plugged into your computer in the same area as your USB ports and everything else, you are using on-board video. If it is plugged into a card using one of the expansion slots located lower on the computer, it is a separate video adapter. Changes to BIOS settings can make it so it is not sending your video output ro the correct port in that case. You could have a problem with your power supply or your motherboard. Just because you hear the motors on the devices doesn't mean there isn't a power porblem. The motors use 12V DC, but most of the logic circuitry that makes everything else work is only 5V DC. Many motherboards have a small LED on them that serves as a "power good" indicator. If that is not on, the power supply is the most likely culprit, otherwise the motherboard probably needs to be replaced. Something else you should check before buying replacement parts is that no USB flash devices are plugged into the computer and that no blank CDs are inserted into any optical drives. I have seen both cause similar problems on other system.
