You should have downloaded drivers for your graphics, audio, LAN,WLAN and if required printer for Win 7 before you upgraded too Win 7. If you can, re-install XP+Sp3 and do the downloads that would be the best idea. An alternative would be to use a different computer and download the drivers. For reference, download all drivers for the new OS before you remove the old OS. Good luck.

front panel header pin assy,go to intel website and download the manual for that model,it will tell you all jumper settings and pin settings,it might be under discontinued models,it will be labeled SPK

you might have to get a portable usb sound card if you mean dont have a sound card installed or control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the right speakers or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager,sound,could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers hope this helps

DG965WH Board works well with 533 RAM, but is very finicky about 800, if you use 800, use only what is recomended.
I used kingston KVR533D2N4K2/2G with good luck on 4 motherboards.

You can try it, but watch for crashes and stabilty issues, if it has issues, remove it.

can u recheck the power connections,, might be mains power not getting,, or loose connections..

Check to make sure you don't have any extra standoffs under the motherboard that may be shorting it out.

If the southbridge chipset is intact and operational, either physically open the case and see if you can visually see the chip set #,

or my favorite, download and run everesthome,
click on + by motherboard
click on chipset
click on southbridge in right column,
google the chip set drivers or the audio control set drivers
or click on the "ask me " under my id .and give me the #'s I'll link you to the updated drivers.
