O/s no instalion on window

Is this on an existing system or a new build ? Either way it sounds like a bios issue , sometimes you need to get into the bios when they act up and reset it to factory default. You access the bios by pressing a key such as f2 when you start up the PC. then check to make sure your hard drive is listed in the hard drive portion of the bios menu. If it is not listed it could indicate a loose cable or a failed hard drive. When exiting the bios be sure you save changes on exit. One more option is to restore factory defaults - then save changes and exit.

Good luck,

Not support 7

Hi, the mainboard does not support windows 7.
The link is here:

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=P5PE-VM&p=1&s=22

But you can try the vista driver it will probably work.
Or select the compatible mode when you install the driver.
Select the operating system 32 or 64 bit.
Select the driver you want and click on global for download.
And unzip the file before installation.

You must have at least 2 gigabytes of ram if you planing to
run windows 7.

My problem was the sound

You just need to update your motherboards sound driver. Try to download it from your motherboards website, or get driver installer software that would search the internet automatically and downloads the driver that *********** board needs to be able to work properly. If you have your motherboard installation disk with you reinstall the drivers all of them and then try to listen if sound is audible once more.

Motherboard model : P5PE-VM Problem :

Any brand inexpensive PCI sound card will be adequate. Remember to first enter the MB bios and disable the onboard audio first. You will now only be able to connect to autio ports from the back... front will no longer work.

Asus motherboard sometimes on the

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error even something as small as a faulty electrical extension or fan lead can cause a computer to shutdown

computers need all of the data and electrical current to travel through every working device and to have an end to be able work properly

a motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail check all electrical power input and extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working

also check the Cmos battery and computer ram make sure they are securely seated with no dust built up or in the sockets

and you might not have enough RAM random access memory not having enough will cause your computer to run over its maximum limits and can cause the blue screen of death and hang also uninstall some unnecessary programs and run the chkdsk utitlity control panel administrive tools, computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart

you should have no input while the chkdsk utility is I progress any input might damage your computer

then defragment your hard drive scroll to the bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click you can select task manager applications also processes you will see whats running on your computer you might have virus slowing your computer also select users you will see who is using your computer download and run a registry cleaner cc cleaner is 100%free http://download.cnet.com/ccleaner/

if you need any more help with this post a replyhope this helps you
