Glo Warm Self Venting Heater Model FB3B Emits strong odor
The propane may have a higher sulfur content; however, the odor may go away soon. It is probably caused by the dust and oxidation (micro-rust) that attached itself to every part of the heater while in storage, even though it was "sealed".
I do not have a
Most of the thermocouples for thiese units are expensive and come from Italy. 99% of the time they are NOT the problem. Dust gets into the heater over the summer and weakens the pilot safety. Flush the pilot with rust buster. Let it dry and vacuum out the ceramic blocks. I recently tuned a vent free heater up. Took some photos:

The right hand panel of the D-E37 has started to
Well I would try cleaning with a compressor and blow gun to clean the panel out. Remove the panel and blow air thru all of the holes backwards and forwards until nothing comes out but clean air. Be careful when seating them back in their holder to seat them properly. I believe that this will help with your problem.
My dyna glo nat. gas
Sounds like your heater needs a service, is there any sooting around the pilot if so have it serviced asap
The heater goes off sometimes and the pilot goes
Take a can of air used in the computer industry and give it a shot or 5 of air on the pilot assy. If you can scrub the probe in the pilot, it will also help. Use steel wool or a green scrubbie.
Wont stay lit
If dust gets into the pilot safety device called an ODS (oxygen depletion sensor) then the safety thinks the air is low and kicks the pilot off. To remedy it I flush the pilot with a little rust buster. This cleans the dust out without disturbing the air flap. I have repair photos and a neat demo video that shows how it works

POLIT GOING OUT
im assuming its a vent-free unit, dis assemble and clean oxygen depletion sensor, which is incorporated in piulot assembly.
Smell of gas.
If possible, ignite on a lower setting then increase rather than igniting on the high setting.
If there is no manual adjustment, I would call a gas engineer to sort out the problem, as you do not want a malfunctioning gas appliance in your home.
The brick does not glow red you see the flame all
Both repairable and dangerous. The burner need blown out with a air compressor. This should take care of it. The unit not glowing red will create CO. Which will make you sick or even can kill you.
Cant find set screw on pilot burner. model no. rmi 70ng
Set screw for what? To raise the flame? Not one. What you gotta do is clean out the pilot. Least bit of dust makes the safety think oxygen is low and shuts down the heater. I flush the pilot with a drop of rust busted then I use the long spout on it to blow out the pilot. You could use a straw tubing or shop air. Take a look at the demo
HEREA great page that shows where to clean the pilot and has links to more good stuff:

Why does my 30,000 btu
How long does it run before it shuts off? If it is just a short time (say, a minute or two) then you probably have a bad thermocouple. That is the device that senses the heat from the flame and tells the control valve that it is lit. If it doesn't sense flame in a minute or two, it shuts down to prevent the house from filling with gas.
