The Windows Operating System that is installed on your laptop is not an authorized version from Microsoft.
If you had purchased the laptop from a shop, take it back to them and ask for a genuine Microsoft CD. You will then need to reinstall Windows with this CD and the activate the license.
try to disable the windows firewall. What antirus software are you using right now? Norton , macafee?? try to disble also your antivirus and see what happens.
HI ,
This is problem is comming due to Your registry might be corrupted so -

1.
Remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters values completely from the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}NOTE: If you are getting a code 39 message, it may be that additional third-party filter drivers were added to UpperFilters and LowerFilters values in addition to Adaptec filter drivers. In that case, you may try to remove the non-Adaptec filter drivers first, leaving the Easy Creator filters in place to see if the Code 39 goes away. If you still receive an error code 39, 32, or 31 message, remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters values completely in the preceding key.
It could be that either your virus protection, or a virus itself is inhibiting the installation from finishing. Try getting a Virus protection program like mcafee, and installing that and see if it works.
Looks like you're right, I did not see any Lenovo replacement jacks either. You might try looking at the IBM Thinkpad jacks for various models to see if you can find the same jack.
I've repaired 3 laptops with this problem. Rather than replacing the jack on the mainboard I wired a "pigtail" to the mainboard and then zip tied a female connector to the back of the laptop itself. I did this because the mainboards were pretty beat up from the heat the original jack produced as it began to loosen. The end result is not as pretty as the original jack, but it absolutely takes all the stress off the mainboard. Those computers will never have this problem again.
