i found screen red error on laptops by Virus guard problem, or video driver errors. therefore remove the video driver and restart.

Re-install Windows, at the start ofthe installation, delete the partition, the create a new partition, the do a full NTFS format.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

Plug the computer into an external monitor. If the picture is normal the screen on the laptop needs replacing. If there are lines on the external monitor then its the motherboard.

cant lose the bios its built into the machine itself

you can change the bios settings but not lose it

more like like a power supply, ram ,motherboard or hard drive issue

Check for the power adaptor or if using battery check for the battery backup

Ok solution to this problem is simple! First determine if there are Wireless household phones around! 2.4 GHZ. These phones use the same exact frequency your Router does, and wireless cards. Channels I believe 8,6,and 11. Your phone hops between these when a call comes through and the channel is not clear. So hence the problem. Now another problem would be that the your firewall is not allowing your PCs to connect to the wireless network. So you may need to let down your firewall to reestablish connection. The other solution would be to erase all of the web access points you have visited from your network connections settings tool properties. Sometimes when this gets filled you card will not be able to scan a new network. The other solution would be to plug in the information manually into your Network adapter. These are all simple fixes! If this does not help drop me a line. I have plenty more answers! I cannot put them all down considering I only know based on the limited information!

It means that you do not have a hard drive that can be booted to start the OS, or that your had drive is defective, or the boot sector of the hard drive is missing or corrupted.

You just got wireless turned on ? Does this mean you just added a wireless router to your existing wired network ? You may need to turn off the DCHP server in the wireless Router and give it a unique ip address eg if wired router is 192.168.0.1 then make wireless router 192.168.0.2 with gateway ip set as 192.168.0.1 then make wired dhcp router not lease out 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.20 make subnet mask the same also for each router.
