ImageCLASS covers about 40 models of different sizes and features. The most likely reasons are; White Out in the document feeder scan strip. Torn paper somewhere in the paper path. A bad developer roller.

The problem is with the DC controller board, either bad connection or bad board.

I guess youve tried switching it off and on? If so It needs its system software reloading. Only Canon reps can get hold of this, best to get someone locally.

1) The error E808 occurs when one of the connectors in the fixing assembly is not properly plugged in when the unit is on. 2) This might have occurred while replacing the fixing assembly or performing a troubleshooting attempt on the machine. 3) You can find the connector above the fixing assembly at the right corner, behind the cover on the machine's side. 4) To clear the E808 error, unplug the machine from the power supply for at least 10 minutes. The error will appear again if the thermistors are in bad condition. 5)The fixing film assembly should be replaced in such case. That error is related to the scanning section , maybe the image reading unit is defective

1) The ir400 copier laser scanner has a number of fans that generate the signal. The fan number 5 is the curl reducing fan. 2) If any error occurs from that fan, then you will see the 004-error code. The error occurs when the fan wiring is faulty. 3) The fan can be faulty or even the DC controller PCB can also damage. There can be any foreign objects objecting the fan's rotation pathway. 4) If you find any object, then remove the object. Check if the wiring and the connector of the fan are normal. 5) Replace the fan if there is a problem with it. Also, replace the DC controller. Check if the fan FM5 is positioned correctly. 6) The Heat Exhaust Fan FM5 error can also occur. Check if the connector connection between the Heat Exhaust Fan and the DC controller is intact.
