Try the VLC Player, it plays everything. Try using VLC as your player. Go to www.google.com andin the search box type "download vlc" (without the quotes). Hi, My guess is maybe your computer does not have HD card to view or a fast enough cpu.(proscessor).Or a fast connection. If you have all 3 then you can get high res...

have you installed the driver? is it usb or internal? theres not alot to go on there

The driver is for windows xp.
You need them both for audio
The bus driver and the conexant driver.

If you have the windows install disc, you can insert it, restart your computer and press any key when it tells you to. This will boot from the DVD and enter the Windows Setup. From there, it will show you a list of partitions on your hard drive before you install windows. Choose the partition on which Vista is installed and click "Delete" under advanced options. The partition will be formatted. If you want to install a fresh copy of Windows Vista, you can do so now. If not, exit windows setup and install whatever OS you want to use.
(Make sure you BACK UP your files before formatting - once you format the partition, you can NEVER get the files back.)

What I could recon from your question is that your webcam driver is not installed in your PC having windows 7.

Please be informed that any Driver software depends upon the hardware make and Operating System. So, you need to know all these information's to do get going.

Please find the Driver software's of your webcam inside the installation disk provided with the System at the time of purchase. In case if you do not posses the same then you need to download the driver software from the web. Here is the direct download link:

Even here you need to be careful to download the correct software for your PC. You need to be exact with the PC Model number and the OS that you are using.

After you have downloaded the driver, to install just plug in the webcam on to your PC and then Double click on the driver setup.exe file and go on clicking 'Next' until you get the 'Finish' option and restart the PC.

Could be a few things:
First of all, connect the laptop to another monitor and see if you get an image on the external screen
If you do, you can usually eliminate the graphics chip problem that is common on the V and DV series laptops.

Now take the laptop into a darkened room and look at the screen, if you see a faint image on the screen, the problem will probably be with the screen backlight, if there is no image, the inverter has failed. Replace either or both depending on the fault

If you get no image on an external monitor but you are getting power to the laptop (eg: DVD will eject, leds will light), then the problem is with the graphics chip. This is well documented and will require a reball of the motherboard.

If you are getting no power to the laptop, check the ac adaptor, make sure it is outputting the correct voltage, then the socket into which it plugs on the laptop, ensure the centre pin and outer housing are not worn or loose, if they are, the DC jack will need replacing

Do a basic test:

1-Drain the battery
2-Take off the battery from the battery socket
3-Plug the charger/cable

If the problems continue:

Get another charger/cable and plug it.If yes Your MOBO is bad.

If not:

1-The battery need replace.Also a good idea is to buy a new charger/cable.

Please follow these steps,there are different way od going to BIOS depending on the brand of the laptop.
1 Turn on your computer
2 Hold down F2, this will take you into BIOS. On some computers it might be the DEL key, or F1.
3 Change the settings in BIOS to what you desire. You will see parameters for various devices, if your BIOS allows it, you can even overclock the CPU.
4 Look at the BIOS menu. You will be able to see the make, model, and capacity of your hard drive, processor speed, time and date, among many other settings.

Click "exit without saving changes" if you make a mistake, and nothing will be changed.
