Hello...I have the same grill and want to do the same conversion...From my research, you need to drill out the three orifices with a size #53 wire gauge drill bit. ( this resizes each orifice to 12000 BTU's each, which the grill is rated at 36000 BTU's).Then remove the existing hose and regulator. Replace the hose with a Quick disconnect compression fitted hose. The NG supply needs to have a pressure regulator installed, with a shutoff and quick disconnect fitting installed. Connect the hoes from the grill to the supply, and fire it up...THIS IS WHAT I INTEND ON DOING TO MY GRILL,BUT YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK>>>

New tubes, yes, but did you check each burner hole to make sure it is not clogged? Food and grease are frequent problems with the burners as the stuff drips onto them from above.

yes the control knobs are what controls the heat, its a saftey thing on the bbq so turn off tank undo gas from tank open knobs release gas from line , turn off control knobs , reconnect gas line to tank ,turn on slowly , turn control knobs to on and light,

slide the tube onto the rear of the knob and then set into place and put nut on. as long as the tube fits over the brass nipple, it will work

try adjusting the gas/ air ratio shield. that is the tin collar over the opening where the gas jet is . moving it back or forward varies the amount of air available for the mixture and alters the flame height. and colour.
