This computer is so slow HELP
Hi! You may want to start on defraging the hard drive. This can help the pc perform well. Hope this helps and have a good one!
No audio
As a tip, just saying no audio doesn't always help experts. The simplest answer is to go to the volume control on your taskbar. If the volume is up, check your audio manager. Go to your control panel, and click sound and hardware, then look for a program with an audio manager.
MISSING OPERATING SYSTEM
Why is it missing? Did you buy it that way?
You will need to buy whichever OS is appropriate for that computer.
Since you haven't told us what brand and model it is, I can only venture a guess. Try buying Windows XP, since Microsoft will discontinue that OS soon, so it may not cost a lot.
Then, after installing and configuring it, get to the Microsoft update site and update to Service Pack 3 (SP3), and make sure you have all other updates installed, again in case they discontinue that OS soon.
Buy the software; do not "borrow" it.
Good Luck,

You Need To Install The Correct Audio Codec which will correct the issue...
http://www.afreecodec.com/audio-codecs/
the link above has free codecs for download..
I'm not able to tell which one you need so best thing for you to do is start from the first one, download/install it then test the dvd...then go on to the second audio codec and download/install Until You Get The DVD To Sound Normal...
THe Codecs Are Extremely Small In Thier File Size... So DOn't Worry About Any Space Being Taken Up From Downloading These... You Might Have To DL Quite a few before you get the correct one...
Also You Can Do A Google Search For: XP Codec Pack......
Download that and it will auto install about 10 or so of the most common Audio Codecs along with video codecs...
My laptop screen can't display.
If you see a very dim image or flicking image on the LCD screen it means you have a backlight problem.
Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power it up, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight.
Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.
