ATI RADEON 9200SE Graphic Card - Page 2 Questions & Answers
No signal to monitor
Which Operating System are you on? I believe (having one myself.) that this card has 128 meg on board. In XP and Vista the card should be recognised and driver installed automatically. Check that the connections are secure and that the card is correctly inserted. Even without the proper driver, you should see a display! Sounds hardware to me. Hope this helps. Ian.

There you are my friend, just follow the link and DL the driver there. Its for XP, if you need a different OS then just change the OS and click submit and then click drivers and downloads beneath that. Good Luck!
Cannot play FIFA09
Uh oh. It looks like you're out of luck.
FIFA 09 PC Requirement (minimum):
Graphics: 6600 Nvidia graphics card or ATI equivalent with support for Pixel Shader 3
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c"
Nvidia 6600 came out at 2004 and it supports DirectX 9.0C (Shader 3 came with 9.0C)
ATI Radeon 9200 came out at 2003 and only support DirectX 8.1 (which support shader 1.2 - 1.4)
Nope, Radeon 9200 will not support Shader 3 (neither will it support 2.0).
Time for a new video card maybe?
I hope this answers your question.
Graphic Card
ok.. the first thing is.. u need to either physically look at the chips / or chipset on the card.. then locate the gpu.. when this is complete enter the gpu name into google.com or .ca and add driver to the end of the search query then you should--- or this link should do nicely for windows xp http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

VPU Recover - Hardware Rendering disabled - using software instead
Go
HERE and download the original version of the video driver and install it.
You may want to use an ATI driver from
here but it looks like there is not a 9200 mobility driver ???
IF the problem continues, I suggest you use this
LINK to a guide to remove the driver manually before installing new one.
WARNING this includes editing the registry so take extreme care to do EXACTLY as stated.
It would be worth creating a restore point PRIOR to startin so that if necessary you can get back to where you are now if it all goes pear shaped.
My HD 4850 fan is
Your heatsink fan on the graphic card is failing and the motor is going down hill, now saying it has completly stopped..,.. that means the fan motor is done for and need to be replaced to avoid further damage to your graphic card. Would reccommend you not using your graphic card until a new heatsink fan is replaced otherwise you can fry your GPU and suffer a complete loss.
My graphics card will not
How did you get your drivers and graphics? Did you install the whole package? What is the Asus model #? How much Ram do you have? I'm going to do a little research but let me know what you have.

Are you certain that your mainboard is PCIE 2.1 and not PCIE 2.0?
PCIE 2.1 cards like yours will not work on a 2.0 mainboard (2.0 cards will work on a 2.1 board, however) If this is the case, you will need to get a compatible card.If this isn't the case, have you tried this card in a different PC? It could also be that the card has a problem. The last possibility is that there are power issues. A couple of possibilities:
- An external power connector (6-pin PCIE direct power to the video card) is unplugged. Check and re-test.
- Your power supply (PSU) doesn't provide enough power to your graphics card & the rest of your system. Check your PSU's specs against the specs for your card. HIS recommends a minimum 450W PSU, and I would recommend a good quality Antec, Corsair, or PC Power and Cooling or Cooler Master product in the 500W range for this card.
- You got a bad card, or else it shorted out, etc. during setup or installation.
