Quite simply when the clothes are wet the control klixon sends current to the gas assembly. Within the gas assembly is the flame sensor, the igniter and the gas operator solenoids. The power is fed first to the sensor and then to the igniter. The coils also are hot and on the same circuit. Those coils won't open the gas valve because of the enormous rate of power it takes to fire up that igniter. The flame sensor has a bi-metal within it that determines the heat of the igniter and when the temperature reaches 1800f then the sensor shuts down power to the igniter and all of the energy is toosed in the direction of those solenoids. They snap down and yank the spring loaded gas valve open and fuel flows outward right onto the screaming hot igniter. Houston we have ignition. So what can go wrong? If the fuse is blown due to excesive lint or blocked air flow then no power will get to the gas assembly. If the power is getting there then if the sensor is open the igniter wont glow. Since the silicon carbide igniter becomes a resister in the same circuit when the flame hits it, the gas coils themselves will not fire off if the igniter is faulty. First check the exhaust vent and connecting vent material for a clog. If vent is OK,replace the gas valve coils.

You should never replace components on guesses, fuses and elements are an easy test. The remanufactured board may also be at fault. It is a GAS dryer, that means you can't work on it yourself. Only registered qualified gas technicians can work on gas appliances and that is the law. Plus, if it is the main control board, you want professional diagnostics due to the cost of them.

Try kit 4392067. It's the 4 roller wheel kit with belt and pulley. I use them all the time on that model, but without the Y in the beginning. Not sure what the variation is there.
