I have a Amana unit Model# PGA60C1152F that has a blinking light on the control board it blinks 4 times. That heat will come on then go off but the blower nevers comes on.

look on the inside of the door that you took off and there should be a diagram and on that there will flash code that will tell you what 4 flashes means.i think it is a flame rollout or high limit.

I have an amana acd12je-e air conditioner. I have no power to the controller . I cycled the gfi a couple times and still no power at the controller. What should I do next ?already check the breaker.

You need a volt meter or some way to check for voltage. Remove unit from its housing (metal casing). It may slide out or be screwed to) and check for voltage where electrical cord connects to unit. If you have power there you know its not the gfi, breaker or cord. On the circuit board (behind the controller?? Not sure) there may be a fusible link or fuse that can be replaced. Or there may be visible damage on the board(burnt spots or terminals). As always, WORK SAFE!!

What else can I check on my goodman Amana asxc18 compressor

if the problem is at the same period every day then maybe there is a power supply interruption ( like an of peak meter) or active timer on the unit that needs to turned off there is nothing wrong with the unit just the power settings if you have a operators manual then that may give you a clue as to what is not set properly I find that the unit has a 6 code reporting system but cannot find any codes as such ( there may be 6 regions for codes and you have 8 in one of those 6 regions there is a web address at www.amana-hac.com or contact the service agent to get the codes

I have an Amana Ptac Model # PTH123A25AB. It is showing F1 on the display. How do I get it working again?

Evedently F1 is an indoor thermistor problem. This is the sensor that is at the indoor coil. Normally a wire it lead that is attached to the front of the indoor coil. This lead is either unplugged or damaged/malfunctioning. Found this on "manualslib.com" but I'm unable to copy the link.

Amana ptac unit blows air, it feels kind of cool, but it's set at 65 and it's not reaching the desired temp... does it need 2 be recharged or are my lines possibly froze...???

If the unit is frozen you should be able to see ice at the indoor coil. If you pull the air filters and peer inside to the indoor coil there may be ice. Either way it needs service. If no ice and blowing cool not cold it could be the condenser coil is dirty. On the outside you can see the air leaving side of the condenser coil. The air entering side is the side that gets dirty and can only be seen by pulling the unit out of the wall. Its best to leave it in the wall and call a tech that has experience with ptacs.

My Amana ptac unit is blowing air but it's not coming out of the unit as cold as it should therefore never reaching the desired temp of 65...does my unit need 2 be recharged or are lines froze...???

it's known as the split. Room air going into the unit should be 10 to 12 degrees cooler coming out. Unit size, area to be cooled, insulation value and local weather are considered. If the split is close to the numbers the unit is doing all it can. If it's low on freon the evaporation coils will freeze and ice over.

A line cracked in my Amana split system heat pump and I lost all my freon. The repairman found the crack in the outside part of the system. He fixed it and said it would cost around $450.00 to refill

You need to put a vacuum pump on the system prior to recharging. This will get rid of moisture. Could take an hour, but is required...and recommended.

I have the amana air command 80 SV. When I try to get heat, it won't work. I have pushed on the control board and it comes on for a short while then stops again. Again, I push on the control board, or

sounds like loose connection or damaged board. Try removing and replacing all connections first
