Whirlpool dishwasher fe error code

I had this issue with a Whirlpool Dishwasher. I could move the water float valve up and down, and the machine would run a cycle before acting up again. I ran a dishwasher cleaner through it (The one from Finish) and they problem went away! I have always ran the Afresh dishwasher cleaner, but I guess it is not as good as Finish! Conclusion, if you can get it to run a cycle, then try using the Finish Dishwasher cleaner, and see if problem disappears.

We have a whirlpool adp 5440 and the start button

The start light is flashing. I checked the bottom of the dishwasher and saw a black pipe coming out of the electric motor is leaking.
Is it possible to replace only the pipeline or have to replace the entire engine?

Dishwasher du930pwpq2 draining but don't start after

It sounds as if the drain cycle isn't completing. I don't know if the drain and pipes are having trouble or if the dishwasher itself needs to be re-calibrated. I would suggest having a mechanic or plumber come in and check it out. Try all the different cycles so you can narrow down what is wrong. Elisa Jed ' http://aceplumbing.com/drains-and-sewers

F4 indicates draining failure.Your washer drain pump starts and after 4 minutes the OWI(optical water indicator) detects that mashine is 'not empty'

Posible mailfunction reasons:
The drain pump must be defective/blocked
The siphon would have got closed
The control board would have got damaged
OWI defective

What does F6 mean?

The dishwasher can't take on water. Check that the water inlet is properly connected, the stop tap valve is open and that water supply is otherwise available to the dishwasher. Also check for kinks or blockages on the water hose.

F6. means "Water valve (WV1) is switched on but flow meter (FM) senses no impulses" (less than 10 impulses in 10 secs) and the water indicator (WI) is at a low level
Water Valve Closed. Water inlet hose blocked.
Water inlet valve (WV1) defective. Flow meter (FM) defective (leads to FM failure)

Our Whirlpool ADP60000WH (not sure

Hi

When the Dishwasher won't fill you'll need to check for the water inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the float switch assembly. When the water fills your dishwasher, a float rises along with it. As the float reaches a certain threshold level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Sometimes the float can get stuck in the wrong position in your dishwasher, and it can prevent your dishwasher from filling. Sometimes it can happen due to float valve and on other occasions due to float switch. Inspect the water hose coming to the dishwasher for any blockages. If the hose is not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the float switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Fault code F6 on whirlpool adp6940. what is it?

Hello there
F6 error code - The dishwasher can't take on water. Check that the water inlet is properly connected, the stop tap valve is open and that water supply is otherwise available to the dishwasher. Also check for kinks or blockages on the water hose. if all is good than you may have a problem with the solinoid valve for the water or the cycle timer may be faulty and the door switch may be bad or not working properly so
you will want them checked for ohms and resistance if they are found bad they need to be replaced
