Hi
Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to
kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for
any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then
remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any
visible clogging. If it's still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump
is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump. Also,
check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller. Please note that
dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element
doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further
assistance.

The entire pump assembly can be removed from inside the dishwasher tub.1. Remove the access and toe panels from underneath the dishwasher door by removing the screws securing it to the dishwasher frame. 2. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the drive motor and pump motor terminals, the soil sensor and the thermistor.3. Disconnect the drain hose from the drain hose connector on the pump outlet.4. Remove the pump motor.5. Remove the sump tabs that secure the sump assembly to the dishwasher tub. 6. From inside the tub, lift the front of the sump up approximately ½ inch. Push the assembly back and then lift it out.

Hi,
If there is no water whatsoever entering the machine then the inlet valve is most likely faulty. However, that's very uncommon. More common is a problem with the flow meter or the pressure switch. Remove the filter and mesh filter, carefully clean out the black grid and don't puncture the membrane, pour very hot water into the sump to dissolve any grease. Reset the machine and try it again. If still not working take off the left hand panel, locate the flow meter at the bottom front of the water matrix, unplug it and plug it back on. Reset and try again.
Please get back to us if you have any further query or else accept the solution.

Where is the drain hooked up? is there an obstruction where it drains into sink. You will have to remove drain line where it runs into drain under sink and see if line is clear. I have seen where they dump into the disposal and they never removed the disposal plug
Dishwasher wont run..breakers ok...can hear
Hi,
Sounds like you may have a food particle or something along those lines caught in your pump. Alot of dishwashers run the pump in one direction to wash and the opposite to drain. Try advancing the timer to a drain part and see if it dislodges whats in your pump. if this doesn't work, you may need a repair person.
OR
Indesit list that as an inlet valve failure.
You'll need a multimeter to check the valve, test it to see if the coil is open circuit, if it is, replace the valve.
Is the water turned on? Check the supply to the valve.
Check the wiring in the door hasn't snapped.
Finally check the pcb in the door to see if it's burnt or damaged.
OR
what you are hearing is probably the drain pump solenoid. At start the drain pump will get in to get rid of any water and purge the system. It's hard to tell without being there. I would call for service, it won't cost anything. Have the tech check the wash and drain pump assy
Thank You
Dishwasher isn't draining
It could be the pump, but not only.
Check first that you don't have any clog in the drain line.
If drain line is clean, open machine's rear panel and :
- Look if the pump works. If it doesn't work check that pump get power (with multi-meter). In case it get power (and does't work), it should be replaced.
- In case the pump works - The machine has a drain valve with an electric solenoid (the drain pipe connected to it). When it get power the valve opens and diverts the water to the drain line. Test that it get power. In case it get power and dosen't work - You can easyly open the valve and clean it (from scale or other dirt). Be aware you should disconnect the power cable from machine before doing it !!!!!
Check as well for valve's coil resistance. In case you have no resistance measurement - you should replace for a new valve.
Good luck !
