1) The set of input (Yellow= Composite video, Red= Right channel audio, White= Left channel audio). This set of input is for composite video.

2) The set of input (Red= Red video signal, Green= Green video signal + sync, Blue= Blue signal, Red= Right channel audio, White = Left channel audio (the Red and White will be grouped close together). This set of input is used for Component video for HD signal.

You should try using composite video source (Yellow RCA jack) from DVD player and feed to the monitor and see if it works OK with all color showing that way we acn find out if it is the video source problem or the monitor video signal processing problem. Try the PS2 on the TV if it works OK also.

Is the cable you are using a set of Yellow, Red & White cables? If so do you have them plugged into the ports on the "side" of the Monitor? or are you trying to use the ports on the back?

It should be hooked up to the ports on the side.

Open the monitor, examine the circuit boards. Look for small components that look like small cans, these are capacitors. If you see any that look bulged on top, then your problem can probably be solved by replacing these. Check out the following site

Controle el cable atras del monitor. Se asegure que estee bien enchufado al monitor y a la ordenadora.
Intente desenchufar los cables de corrente de la ordenadora 5 minutos.
Si todavia no tiene suerte intente utilizar el boton Source en el mando del monitor (solo en unos modelos con TV, Monitors sin TV no tienen eso).

The connecting cable or the video card would be the first suspects. Try a different cable to connect the monitor first, if there is no change, the video card in the computer would be second to look at. Can simply connect a different monitor to your computer to troubleshoot this. If the testing monitor works, it will be the graphics card that is the issue.

Press the auto key of your monitor to get the best fitted resolution for your window, each monitor has a limited graphic capability of which it is designed. if the production is not ok consult your manufacturer.
