does it flash or light up if not have the clock by passed and it will go again

dont you mean temp is to low ? First thing is make sure you dont have the temp setting to high the larger the number the colder it gets,note if turned down it will take 24 to 48 hrs to notice any difference. If good then most likely a faulty thermostat

with the on switch for the oven the higher the numbers the hotter the oven the thermostat will do the controlling at the temp you set If that is not happening replace the switch
