Oven shut off not working

First make sure you have power to the control board. If so, the control board has failed. It is no-longer-available but can be rebuilt by fixyourboard.com.

I have a Whirlpool stove Model # RF377PXGW 1.

It sounds the the control panel is locked.
To unlock:
Press and hold START/ENTER for 5 seconds.
You will hear a single tone and “LOC”
will disappear from the temperature
display and you should be back in business.

FYI To re-lock it do the same proceedure except the LOC feature will re activate, this is a nice feature to prevent the oven being turned on when cleaning the control panel.

Oven does not heat in any function

HI. This is quite common in most self clean ovens of this nature. During a self cleaning cycle, your oven reaches temperature up to 935 degrees. This is a very vulnerable situation and this is also when most temperature sensor fail, if this option is used regularly. Once the temperature monitor fails, the internal temperature will reach an over temperature state(1000 degrees F) that will literally weld the relay contacts on the rear of the main control board. This will cause the unit to stop working, due to the damage that has occurred to the main board. It may seem to be normal, but as you can see, you have no control over your baking elements, heating cycle and locking mechanism. The elements are fine, but the relays that control them are damaged, due to the high overheating issue that has occurred, due to a failed sensor during the self cleaning process.

The necessary actions are to replace the main control board and the oven temperature sensor. If you need confirmation, simply, test the elements for proper continuity. Normal elements of this nature should show some form of continuity(15-124 ohms). The tempreture sensor should be in the range of(1100 ohms when at room temperature). If the elements and sensor test out ok, only replace the main control board(EOC/ERC/PCB).

Own a Whirlpool Built-In SIngle Electric Oven, one

Well you may have blown a fuse in the control panel. If it gets too hot for the controls the fuse melts and kills power so that the controls won't be damaged. 35b1b39.jpg

Oven door locked with code F06 -

The unit has to be cool for the solenoid that powers the lock to open. If the unit is cool, unplug or switch the appliance off at the breaker. Problems after cleaning cycles are an extremely common occurrence. The heat often fries circuitry and causes all sorts of misery for consumers. If the oven does not reset, please look at your error code again. The codes are usually either 2 or 4 digits, not 3. I am not familiar with FO6, probably because the appliance is made for Spain? In any event, in the U.S., F0 is the electronic board behind the clock. Please try the unplug/power step and let me know if it doesn't work. Thanks.

Cleaning cycle finished, oven cool but still locked

Since the clean cycle was interrupted by turning the breaker off it may need to be restarted. Start the clean cycle like you normally would, then after it starts and runs for a couple of minutes, push cancel and see if it unlocks. If not the lock would need to be manually moved by putting a flat thin angled tool or stiff cardboard carefully between the door and oven cavity on the top of the door, slowly move this to the left, you will feel resistance when you get to the latch in the center. If you hit it right it will unlock.

No power is there a reset button

There is no reset button on this model.

Check to make sure your circuit breaker is not tripped in the home.

There are internal safety thermal devises that could have tripped or the main control board gone out.
