How do I remove the
We just replaced the inner glass last night. The door needs to be removed, then take the screws out that holds the inside panel on. I suggest writing notes of the steps that you take when you remove the panel and glass. Our model had three pieces of glass. Be careful replacing the door, we knocked the lock loose which in turn knocked the sensor for the light to come on. We had to take that part of the oven apart also to fix it. Hope this helps. I may not have done this if it wasn't for the broken glass.

Whirlpool oven issue
Usually,
when an oven won't bake, it's because the bake element is burned out.
The bake element is the black, pencil- thick tube at the bottom of the
oven. When the oven heats, the element glows red. This element has an
expected life-span of several years. It may last for only one; it may
last for many more. When the element burns out, you need to replace it.

It's possible, but is door installed correctly? Push in light switch and see if error goes away. I cannot see your reply due to some tech issue w/ the site, so it may be a day or so before I can reply again. Please leave feedback for me if appropriate. Thanks

Oven door locked
First check to see if you activated the "child lock-out". See your manual to deactivate.
You could also try unplugging the unit, or trip the circuit breaker in your home which supplies power to the oven. Wait 5 minutes and turn power back on. This will reset the controls.
Good luck!

Oven door lock
I have a problem with the door lock mechanism. The error code suggests replacing the mechanism. My serviceman ordered the mechanism and called me when it arrived. The cost of the part is $239 which with the labor involved is neaing the price that I paid for the oven. Evidently this is a common problem with this particular oven.

First check to see if power is coming from outlet, with meter or check breaker in panel box of main. Then you will need to be careful and check inside of oven power supply inside unit

Oven
Either the door switch has failed or the control board is not sensing the door is closed. Try turning the power off for a couple minutes and back on. The oven is supposed to go through a diagnostic cycle when the power is applied and rotate the door latch. If this doesn't help you will probably have to call for service since it is in warranty.
I will look up your model and see if there is anything else you can do that won't void your warranty.
Thanks/Mike
