Whirlpool RF364 Electric Kitchen Range - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I'm trying to put the oven door back together and
I had mine apart to clean and could not figure out how it went back together. The side strips I thought helped hold the glass in but they dont. I then discovered the side plastic strips go back in on the flip side-inner oven side. Grrrrrrrrr...wasted half a day trying to figure this out.

We are having the same problem. The technician is here right now, he is going to be replacing the keypad (control pad). We had to cut off the power because of the annoying beeping noise until he orders one. I hope this helps.

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.
The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...
Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.
If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.
Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

RF364 Electric Kitchen Range: my whirlpool super capacity 365 is showing E2 F3 (...
The F3 E2 error code indicates that the electronic oven control board in the range senses an over-temperature condition in the oven.
This can be caused by a failed temperature sensor probe, a wiring problem between the sensor and the control board, or a failed electronic oven control board.
If the oven is apparently not overheating when this error code appears, then your likely failure is the temperature sensor probe.
If the oven is overheating, then you likely have a failed electronic oven control board due to a stuck relay not cycling the oven heating element off properly.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Pressed broil for the stove
Hello,
This error code
on a Kitchen Aid range indicates a keypad short on the Electronic Range
Control (ERC) board. This is the clock/timer on the operator console.
The recommended fix is to replace the ERC. You can generally find
replacement parts at these websites:
searspartsdirect.com appliancepartspros.com pcappliancerepair.com
All these sites offer great service with competitive pricing, so shop and compare.
Replacing an ERC is not a difficult repair and can be accomplished by
the average do-it-your self offer. If you decide to order the part and wish
to repair this on your own, follow these steps:
1. UNPLUG the range. Dangerous voltage is still present inside even with the range turned off.
2. Pull the range away from the wall and turn the unit around so you can access the rear panel.
3. Remove the screws on the back of the operator console.
4. Carefully disconnect the connector plugs to the ERC. Take note of
how they are connected, so that you can reinstall them correctly.
NOTE: The connectors are usually color coded with the colors printed on
the circuit board. However, if the colors are not printed on the board,
write them down. (A digital camera also comes in real handy for this).
5. With the connectors removed, remove the mounting screws to the ERC and the assembly will come out.
NOTE: Most replacement ERC boards do not come with the overlay. This is
the plastic pre-printed number display. The overlay can easily be
peeled off and re-used. Just make sure you properly orient the overlay
so that you don't inadvertently place it on the new board upside down.
If your existing overlay is damaged, you will need to order separately.
6. Install new ERC using the steps provided in reverse order. Minimize
handling the new circuit board with your bare hands to avoid damaging
the board.
I hope this instruction helps you.

Hi, My GE Monogram ZDP30N4HSS range is making a
First I would replace both front igniters thier about $20 a piece this should fix the clicking. They keep clicking because they are not sensing the flame. The front burner assemblys will need to be thoroughly cleaned. There are very small orfice holes that need to be spotless. Also the burner cover, the top piece that pulls off. Make sure the bottom lip is very clean. Use a fine wire like a paperclip to clean out the holes in the burner assembly. For diagrams or illustrations enter your model # at
