I have a vtech dect
Press MENU/SELECT in idle mode to bring up the menu. Use up/down to select "SETUP HS" and press MENU/SELECT. Use up/down to select "RING VOLUME" and press MENU/SELECT. Press up/down to hear the choices and set the desired one by pressing MENU/SELECT.

The 6219 is not an answering machine. If you've subscribed to an answering service offered by your phone company, please contact them for instructions and help.
How to delete missed calls
To delete a single call entry, scroll to the desired entry and press MUTE/REMOVE.
To delete all call entries, press and hold MUTE/REMOVE while in the call log. When the screen displays "DELETE ALL?" press MENU/SELECT.

How to put phone so when phone rings, cannot hear
Press MENU/SELECT to display menu when in idle mode
Press Up or Down arrow to reach SETUP HS. Press MENU/SELECT.
Press Up or Down arrow to reach RING VOLUME. Press MENU/SELECT.
Press Down arrow all the way down, then Press MENU/SELECT to confirm.
A ringer off icon (Bell with a line through it) will be displayed on the screen.
Note: While the phone is ringing, you can temporarily silence the ringer by pressing OFF/CLEAR or MUTE/REMOVE. The next call will ring normally.

The battery detect circuit of the cordless phone has failed. "Battery" is the 24VDC signal
sent by the CO (Central Office) to each telephone that goes off-hook.
Fix: get the phone serviced (hopefully under warranty), or replace.
How can I make conference
Hi,
To make two-party call on your Panasonic phone and ask the person on the other line to wait for a moment.
Check to see if your Panasonic phone has a flash key feature. If it does, press the flash key down and wait until you hear the confirmation tone. If the Panasonic phone you're using does not have a flash key, hold down the the hook switch for half a second, then release. Dial the number of the third person in your conference call. If you're inviting someone in-house to be a part of your conference call, dial their extension number instead. If you're dialing an outside line you may need to dial 9 before dialing the number.
Wait for the new addition to the conference call to answer and then press the Flash key again. Wait an additional two or three seconds before pressing the number three on your telephone keypad. Start your conference call. Once you've pressed the flash key followed by the number 3, as in Step 4, your conference call is established. If you wish to add additional participants simply repeat Steps 3 and 4.

Red light indicating fone charging has not shut
My Vtech 6.0 charging light only turns off when I remove a handset from the charger base. I have had these three set for two years and they work fine. I think that the red light is just to let you know that the charger is working, if you loose power, or unplug one of the base units there is no indication of a dead battery.
